“Great location, unfriendly reception”
Great location, great shared space in the hotel, great bar staff, great breakfast staff despite average breakfast, found the rooms ok, bathrooms weren’t great, value for money was low compared to other hotels along coast including Santa Marg to Cinque terre. Found reception unfriendly and not really interested in explaining hotel facilities. Beach club is a rip off for guests of the hotel, especially when cheaper options nearby. Convenient at the time but not sure i’d stay again.

“Very good”
Liked: The location is excellent. The view of the bay is awesome.
Disliked: Hotel is tired. Needs a renovation. Giving it a 4 star rating is overwhelming generous.

Liked: Fantastic area to walk around beaches on both sides and plenty of restaurants
Disliked: I have been going to this beautiful hotel for the past 10 years and always a winner. It feels like home. Fabulous breakfast and dinners by the sea. White tablecloths you can’t beat the views. Picture perfect.

“Acceptable”
Liked: The cleaning staff pay utmost attention to detail, and the room was spotless. But some wear and tear was showing, like towel heaters and shower heads.
Disliked: If you book a standard room, be prepared for extra charges—towels and sunbeds cost an outrageous €40 per person, and parking isn’t included either. I ended up dragging my luggage from the free parking lot to the hotel under the hot sun. Honestly, if you’re paying separately for sunbeds, towels, and parking, it makes more sense to look for a cheaper alternative. Breakfast was disappointing: the eggs were often burnt, the variety was poor, and overall it felt lackluster. On top of that, the elevator to the standard rooms was straight out of a horror movie—no sensors, frequently malfunctioning, and half the time it didn’t even stop at the correct floor. The hotels in the Dolomites, at similar prices, set a far higher standard. Here, I couldn’t even find a fraction of the hospitality and comfort.

“Sestri Levante is beautiful place”
Liked: The beach was awesome! Staff in the reception, especially the females were very helpful.
Disliked: Attitude of staff in the dining room for breakfast. We understand the hotel is fully booked and breakfast is busy, but friendlier staff will make a big difference for the overall stay in the hotel
