Hotel O Balcon Biru

It was actually comfortable — clean and the AC was cold, the TV worked, but sadly there was no water heater. Overall it was worth it. Only the parking attendant was really annoying — I almost got into a fight. Long story short, I went out to buy food (by the way I’m pretty cashless). When I got back to the hotel the parking attendant asked for parking money and I said I had no cash, I’d pay at checkout. He replied to go ahead and take my money upstairs first because he needed it for cigarettes and coffee… super irritating. The next day at checkout I threw the parking money at him on purpose to make him angry so it would turn into a fight.

Overall,pretty satisfied with the room considering the price.its just okay for a transit stay,which was fine for us since we only needed to shower and sleep for a few hours.The staff were super nice.The only downside was that the room was a bit dirty.But for a short stay and the price it was okay

The receptionist is friendly and refunded our money so we could leave - otherwise I think the pictures speak for themselves. I’m a budget traveller and completely ok with outdated facilities but this room was dirty and unhygienic. It looked like it had never been cleaned. Every table & shelf had a thick layer of dust, the floor had piles of rubbish, everything in the bathroom was covered in yellow stains or mould and you could not see anything in the mirror. The room smelt badly of cigarette smoke, the bed sheets had holes, ants were crawling within the bed, and the bedhead was covered in plastic wrap which was ripped up and mouldy underneath. The walls and cupboards were covered in dirt and the aircon worked but didn’t get very cold. I hate to be that person but in 9 months of travel we’ve never had to leave accommodation before but it was bad.

The room is small but enough for one person, the bathroom door in my room is quite confusing, it's not like any regular door. They provide basic amenities like soap, toothpaste.
