Disliked: That I couldnt Stay longer

Liked: Amazing stay here. Staff were exceptional throughout the hotel, super friendly. Infinity pool was very relaxing even in the rain. Location very close to everywhere in the town but out of the way that you'd not hear anything. Breakfast was good. We walked from hotel to little Adams peak within 45mins.

Disliked: Room was so nice and bed super comfortable. However I felt slightly small just for two suitcases. But that's just something small it never really affected us.

Liked: We loved Onrock! We were able to keep our rooms cool with the a/c and the beds were large and comfortable enough for Sri Lanka. The bathroom was outdated, but clean and perfectly sufficient for our family. The staff was amazingly friendly and we loved the rooftop bar/cafe! We were too busy with a lot of rain to swim, but had so much fun relaxing by playing cards and ordering drinks and snacks from the roof. My kids also loved playing on the hammocks in the hallway. The breakfast was yummy with a lot of options. Steep road to walk up to the property, but doable and easy to walk to town and all the food options!

Disliked: Honestly, not much. It felt a little expensive for Ella in the off-season, but it was a lovely stay! We would choose this hotel again!

Liked: Very well located for the town and all main attractions. Brilliant, friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast, comfortable room and excellent view from the pool.

Disliked: The walk up to the hotel from the town is a fairly steep hill.

Liked: We loved our stay at OnRock and only wish we had booked this hotel initially. We moved from a different hotel after one night after a very bad experience. The night manager at OnRock showed us the facilities late in the evening and we checked in the following day. Our highlights from the hotel include: - Rooftop infinity pool - amazing to watch sunset and sunrise. - Bed linen - it felt so luxurious! - Power shower - Breakfast: we went classic Sri Lankan - the egg hoppers were the best we had on our trip and the curries were also excellent. - Views of Ella rock from our room. The staff were exceptional- kind, chatty and professional and could not do enough to help us.

Disliked: Loved the aesthetic of polished concrete / sleek modern decor but it did mean that sometimes it could be a little noisy/ slippy.

Liked: The staff is genuinely helpful and friendly!

Disliked: The room size and the value for price.

Liked: This hotel was spectacular. The majestic infinity pool is an absolute highlight. The staff here are absolutely tremendous. They are warm and extremely accommodating. A fantastic place to stay. Do yourself a favour and book here. Amazing value for money.

Liked: Unbelievable views, both from our room and the infinity pool/bar on the top floor. Very peaceful location yet still close to the heart of Ella. Clean hotel with lovely staff.

Disliked: Nothing major, but the rooms are smaller than some places, and bathroom felt a little cramped!
