Hotel Populus

The hotel is in a great central location, with everything close by. We had a peaceful and comfortable stay. The room was clean, and the balcony was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Liked: The location is great and easy to find - in a more residential neighborhood of Syracuse than a tourist one. The staff was easy to reach and very accessible, and the room was very big and very comfortable.

Disliked: The bar was a bit limited, but the staff more than made up for it with good service and generosity. It was also a bit difficult to communicate as some of the staff had a very basic level of English and my Italian is also quite basic.

Liked: The location was good, only 15 minutes the Ortiga Island by foot

Disliked: The room was small and the airconditioning didn't work the best. We asked breakfast but it was only a croissant. The owner didn't speak english.

Liked: The hotel host was cordial and professional. They allowed me to park my motorcycle for free in their garage. The host was very helpful in finding the hotel's location.

Disliked: I was hoping for a double bed but ended up with two single beds.

Hotel in posizione centrale ma in zona popolare. Non c’è ascensore. La colazione è servita dopo le 8,30….!! Sic!! Arredamento delle camere essenziale anche se curato.

Liked: The place is very clean and maintained. The staff is very polite and available to assist you. The location is very good, easy to find and accessible. Highly recommended!

Disliked: Some minimal noise one night outside, but that's normal.

Convenient hotel in the city center and clean.

Liked: The room has recently been refurbished with new, beautiful tile, bathroom fixtures, mattress, and comfortable pillows. Everything worked, including the help, who had everything clean, breakfast on time and good coffee. They were helpful answering questions of the how, where, when variety that they hear every day. It's most convenient for walking to sites and restraunts.
