“My home away from home in Guadalajara — exceptional cleanliness, wonderful comfort, and an amazing staff that makes ever”

Liked: Hotel Portobelo has been one of my favorite places to stay in Guadalajara for years, and it never disappoints! The hotel is consistently spotless, comfortable, and welcoming. What truly makes this place exceptional is its wonderful staff. Everyone goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home. I would especially like to recognize Eva, who is always incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. Her genuine warmth and dedication make every visit even more special. After so many years of staying here, I can confidently say that the outstanding service and consistent quality are what keep me coming back. It truly feels like a home away from home!

Disliked: Absolutely nothing! After years of staying here, I continue to have wonderful experiences. I truly appreciate the hotel’s consistent commitment to cleanliness, comfort, and excellent customer service.

“Excellent except for the water.”

Liked: Excellent facilities and friendly, helpful staff.

Disliked: Water was disgusting! If I had known about the tap water I would not have booked. This was the 2nd time for me to stay at the Portobello.

“Relocating From Torre Trimera”

My flight was super delayed and did not even get to the hotel till three in the morning. We had a lot of complications with the rooms because the first room was not clean at all and so we moved to a second room which the air-conditioning did not even work. They only gave us an option between the two rooms so we up just going back to the dirty room that had air-conditioning. Altogether the front desk lady and the Bellman were super helpful in getting us situated and was not rude at all. They were amazing and she actually spoke English, which I didn’t have to fight with the language barrier.
