“Acceptable”
Disliked: Terrible experience! The hotel cancelled my confirmed reservation without any explanation just three hours before check-in, when I had already arrived in Venice. I was forced to book another hotel at a much higher price. Extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Disliked: On the night we arrived at your hotel, we were unable to sleep or properly rest because the air conditioning in our room was not working. The staff member who was on duty was very kind and made every effort to help us with the air conditioning, but unfortunately, he was unable to fix the problem. He kindly provided us with a small portable electric fan/air conditioner; however, it was not sufficient to cool the room. As a result, we had a terrible night and were unable to sleep or rest after a long journey to Venice. In addition to the air conditioning problem, the room also had mosquitoes, which made the situation even more uncomfortable and prevented us from having a proper night's rest. Considering that the main purpose of booking a hotel is to have a comfortable and suitable place to sleep and rest, the conditions we experienced were unacceptable and did not meet the standard of service we expected. For this reason, I am formally requested a refund of my reservation. We paid for accommodation that unfortunately did not provide the basic conditions necessary for us to sleep and rest. Due to all of the circumstances described above, we were forced to make a new reservation at another hotel and leave the Hotel President Venezia first thing in the morning. The conditions in which the room was found were completely inadequate and unacceptable, to the point that it was impossible for us to continue our stay there. As guests, we believe that the conditions provided did not meet the minimum standards necessary for us to be able to rest and remain at the hotel in a dignified and safe manner. For this reason, we are formally requesting a full refund for our stay, as we were forced to find and pay for alternative accommodation due to the circumstances we experienced. But the hotel refused the refund and booking only give us back the 20% Honestly, I feel like I was scammed and robbed. I was not given my money back, and I had to pay for another hotel. Booking.

“A hotel that is spacious and clean, has delicious breakfast, and friendly staff.”
We came to Venice for our honeymoon and were extremely satisfied with the hotel! 1. Room condition The room had been remodeled so it was very pleasant and clean, and there was no smell of smoke at all. The bedding felt fresh and clean, and the room was spacious. Hot water worked well, the water was clean, and indoor slippers plus two complimentary drinks were provided. The room had a safe, a place to hang clothes, drawers—everything you’d expect. Breakfast was good. It was buffet-style with carrot juice, orange juice, milk, coffee, desserts, pancakes, cereal, boiled eggs and scrambled eggs. It was tasty. 2. Location We debated staying on the main island of Venice, but since the historic districts there are right on the sea a lot of the rooms feel small and dried out from the sea breeze, so after some thought we chose accommodation near Mestre station and it was a great choice. Mestre is a small tourist area within walking distance for a daytrip to Venice’s main island, so if you’re not planning to spend time on other nearby islands, I recommend staying near Mestre station. There are hotels near Mestre station with more stylish exteriors, but their rooms were relatively small and they charged around 230,000–270,000 KRW per night including breakfast. By contrast, based on a weekday stay in September we booked through Agoda for 160,000 KRW for two people including breakfast. It’s a 9-minute bus ride from Mestre station, and from the hotel you can walk 7 minutes to the tram stop and reach Venice’s main island in 18 minutes, so transportation was convenient. 3. The staff’s warm greetings and kindness Everyone was very friendly and attentive to guests’ needs. Also, the dog in the hotel lobby is cute. The lobby is being renovated, so it’s not a glittering lobby with chandeliers, but the hotel has a very comfortable atmosphere. The food is tasty and above all the room condition was excellent, so we were very satisfied. The room was very clean and spacious!
