Hotel Relais Acropolis

Friendly staff and very clean.

Liked: Nice staff, free water in the lobby, clean, quiet, 25 nice walk to the beach through the gorgeous park and old Nice. Uber to the train station - 12 euros

Disliked: My room: it was old, tiny, it was different from the pictures on booking, very simple. It was overpriced.

On our first night, we were assigned a room without air‑conditioning during a heatwave. When we asked to change rooms, the hotel informed us that no alternatives were available. Instead, they provided an electric fan that produced very weak airflow and even stopped working during the night. As a result, we had to keep the window open, but the noise from outside made it extremely difficult to sleep.

Yes to great location, but the rooms were absolutely nothing like the photos. I am not sure if this was an entirely different hotel. The bed headboard had a large image of a waterfall in a forest. Enough said. The carpets could use an update.

Liked: I liked that they had a good variety of dried fruit, walnuts, and Nutella for breakfast because I’m vegan so I was satisfied with the selection. Also the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Furniture could be a bit updated. Netflix option would be nice. Curtain around tub/shower would be nice as well.

Honestly the worst experience I’ve had. AC in the room weren’t working and beds were full of bed bugs. I woke up and red dots all over my face. Room isn’t wha it looks like in the pictures and way smaller. Toilet sink wasn’t working. And staff so rude.

The location was as described and the staff were welcoming; however, the room itself appeared to be a repurposed back-office storage space adjacent to the reception area. The room has no privacy, as the street-level window is allowing every passenger to to see directly into the room. Marketing this space as a standard room is not only significantly disappointing from a guest's perspective, but also of questionable legal compliance.

Rooms were very small, it was very hot outside and the ACs were not properly working. We were even offered to change our room however problem with AC persisted. The location is central and easily accessible to tram. Staff was friendly and supportive.
