“Great location coupled with poor services”

The hotel does not carry out room services. You have to drop the towels outside the door and thrash. On the way to the lift, the walkway is a galore of used towels on both sides. Location is great though if you don't mind the extra chore of house cleaning yourself. Fresh towels are hung on the door handle. So much on going green with the unnecessary plastic bags being wasted from distributing the towels. Discussion on the cleaning ordeal with the staff was unfruitful. I witnessed an argument from other guest over this very issue at the lobby. Location is great. Plenty of buses along this stretch to various scenic venues. Patience however is required. Understanding will be appreciated as the staff would so eloquently put it. This isn't the worst place to stay, definitely not looking forward to return given the prices attached and value rendered

“Amazing Facility”

Amazing facility. Polite staff. Good breakfast and great location. In terms of cleanliness - Other people’s hairs were stuck to the bathroom walls prior to us arriving; and still there AFTER the clean. Top shelf also very dusty. Minor stuff. Will 100% stay here again.

“The location was very nice, but it was very small.”

It felt a bit like a slightly smaller room in an Apa Hotel. The decor seemed aimed at inbound travelers, with elements that evoked Japanese style. Pontocho is nearby, so the location was very good.

Liked: I like the location and the design of the hotel. It was very nice. I only spend a night there so I did not have much time to pay attention to other things.

Disliked: I think the room was a little small for my preference but it was perfectly fine. I think in a lot of places in Japan, hotel rooms tend to be small.
