Hotel Rincon Poblano

Liked: Nothing to like about this hotel, honestly one of the worse place i have never been. I was given a room downstairs, it was like being inside a fridge, it was coldeer inside the room than outside. I got sick because of the cold. Water was also cold so coudnt take shower, and water in the toilet did not work initially. Very basic room, no window. I booked 2 nights but left earlier, was impossible to sleep because of the cold and coudnt even take a shower. Horrible experience.

Liked: I had asked for a quiet room, so we were given a room facing the interior courtyard, away from the traffic. The bedroom was sparse but charming, with a simple layout that suited the character of the old Spanish-style building. The courtyard was a lovely place to sit and enjoy a coffee from the café at the front of the hotel. The hotel is in a great location, away from the main tourist centre but still within easy walking distance of Centro, with some excellent restaurants nearby. The staff were great.

Disliked: Our room did not have any windows and the lighting was quite low, so it was fairly dark. The rooms facing the street had much more natural light, but we chose the interior room to avoid the street noise. There were no facilities in the room for making drinks, such as a kettle or drinking water.

Liked: An affordable hotel within about a 10-minute walk of the city center.

Disliked: It was so noisy that I could barely sleep. The hotel is right next to a busy road, and I kept waking up in the middle of the night because of old city buses accelerating outside. I'm usually a heavy sleeper, so that's saying something. 1. It's a hotel, but they don't provide complimentary bottled water. 2. The towels were very old and worn out. 3. The bathroom only had one half-used roll of toilet paper. 4. I saw reviews saying the staff were friendly, but that wasn't my experience. They weren't rude, but they definitely weren't particularly friendly either. 5. The amenities were just a packet of shampoo and two small round bars of soap. Some reviews mentioned great amenities, so I honestly wondered if they were talking about a different hotel. Overall, I really don't recommend this place. Just sharing this so other travelers know what to expect.

Liked: Good location, very functional and good value for the price. Not a hotel you "hang around" but good for a rest after a long day

Disliked: Not the hotels fault but the road outside is very noisy, id recommend earplugs

Disliked: Dirty towels.. the man said he didn't have more.. So he provided it for me the day after

Liked: Really nice room, spacious and neat. Very very clean

Disliked: The shower head was really horrible and hard to manage. Sprayed all around and was very old. The window opened directly to the streets first floor. You had an option, either stay in poorly ventilated room or everyone on the street look inside

Liked: The style of the property was really nice and cool, especially the open court.

Disliked: nothing really

Liked: IS THE BREAKFAST FANTASTIC ALL THE STAFF WHO WORK AT THAT HOTEL ARE VERY EFFICIENT AND VERY FRIENDLY AND THELOCATION IS CLOSE TO THE MUSEUM DISTRICT-EVERYTHING IS NEARBY.WELL,FANTASTIC.

Disliked: THE HOTEL STAFF ARE ALWAYS ATTENTIVE TO WHETHER YOU NEED TRANSPORTATION COSTANRLY MAKING THINGS EASIER FOR YOU SO THAT YOU CAN GET WHEREVER YOU NEED TO GO.
