Hotel Tematico Casa Puebla

Liked: Cheap and central

Disliked: Bed made insane amount of noises on every movement, hardly any sleep. Outlets so old that the chargers fell out. Also needed to put backpack below as they were so far from the ground. Left after one night

Liked: Hotel is very average, very unique on design.

Disliked: Cleanliness, lots of spider webs, and shower head needs to be cleaned from calcium.

Liked: A beautiful location in a beautiful city.

Liked: The view amazing

Disliked: No breakfast and no phone to get in touch with reception

Liked: The staff are the best. And the value is awesome. I flew my drone here and had many Victorian baths. Also they have loads of agaves and other plants. Could probably do with a refurb but still very nice

Disliked: No toilet seat in the 3 rooms I’m stayed in, so it’s deliberate rather than accidental.

Liked: Location and garden.

Disliked: I don't recommend this hotel. Even though I booked through booking, the hotel staff started sending me hostile messages through Whatsapp on the morning of my arrival, stating that if I didn't make a wire transfer with half the cost of my reservation they would give my room to another guest. Even though I tried to communicate with them to sort it out, their only response was the same hostile message. So they aren't good at communicating.Thankfully I was arriving to Puebla in the morning and was able to go to the hotel on time and pay with my credit card. To me this is the main issue I have with this hote and booking should kick them out of their platform. I stayed in room Pahuatlan and the room doesn't look as nice as in the pictures. It's a worn down room with a stained/dirty couch. This hotel has a piping issue where there's a strong and bad odor, especially in the mornings. Since it's a house style hotel, you hear everything from the rooms on the same level. So it could be very noisy depending on what kind of guests are in the other rooms, especially if there are children.

Liked: Beautiful themed rooms, we got it for an amazing price. Staff were lovely. The shower was huge too which was cool. The rooftop was beautiful.

Disliked: It was very loud as our room was closest to reception, there was some kids screaming at 6am and general noise was quite high. We also weren’t told about the rooftop terrace which is amazing but we didn’t get the use it much as we didn’t know about it until the night before we left! The shower did overflow a bit into the bedroom but we caught it before it was a big problem.
