Booked for deluxe room with bath (clearly stated in the room facility and pictures) but got assigned to the one without. Raised the issue to the not-so-nice reception staff and suddenly it's my fault for booking through a third party (Agoda). Although he said it has happened lots of time (but hey, no improvement!) Refused to gave me any compensation as well although i can clearly see that the hotel was quiet. Hair on the bed, slimy slippery bathroom, conditioner pump bottle was broken, central ac was broken too, but they have a smaller Aircon in the room, that only let out plain air.. But the good thing is at least the room was spacious, building and interiors are also nice.

Was a last minute booking for a room relatively near Schiphol Airport, and found Hotel Twenty-Three in Hoofddorp. Instead of staying right by the airport (which is not very charming, nor has much in the way of restaurants/shops/neighborhood in walking distance), I chose this location thanks to some great reviews. And it didn't disappoint. Staff was wonderful, room was spacious, with amenities like coffee & tea available. And the price was right! Would definitely stay again.
