Hotel Victoria

I stayed in the Hotel Victoria for three nights. The location was super, a short walk from Union Station and most of the tourist sites. The staff were friendly, the room was spotlessly clean. Check in and out was simple. The bed was so comfortable, one of the best bed and pillows I’ve ever slept on. If I return to Toronto I would book this hotel again.

great location

The location is great relative to doing touristy things, but they are on a very loud street (Yonge) and their windows do not keep out the noise. So if you're a light sleeper like me, good luck. The staff were all very nice and helpful. My biggest issue is with the rooms. They are impractical and not very clean. The floors are vinyl and apparently do not get washed after ever visit. I had to wash my feet before putting on my socks because the floors were so dirty. The bathrooms are impractical. The sinks are "cool looking" but hard to use and there is no place to put any of your things in the bathroom. The water pressure was week so our shower sucked. In general, it was not a good value for the money. I would definitely stay somewhere else next time I'm in Toronto.

great hotel

Liked: Location.

Over all everything was great! Location was perfect, the staff and cleanliness were great. Just still feels a wee bit expensive

Liked: Staff were friendly, location was good except a lot of tweakers outside constantly

Disliked: Looked nothing like the pics, more like a backpacking hostel! Our room was TINY and the bathroom was gross, updates clearly hadn’t been done in a while. We were right beside the emergency exit and our door didn’t close properly, it gapped while locked when you pulled it. The TB only had the news on it which was bizarre, this was definitely not worth the money considering it was quite pricey. Outdated, and not to a good standard.

We loved the location of this quaint, heritage hotel.
