Hyatt Centric San Juan Isla Verde

Disliked: Is to pricing for the type of the hotel. Isn’t fancy hotel

Liked: I loved how upgraded, clean, and modern the property was! Everything felt well-maintained, and both the pool and restaurants were very nice. The overall atmosphere made the stay enjoyable, and I would definitely recommend the property!

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: We stayed here as a family and had a wonderful time. The location is excellent: Isla Verde Beach is a short walk away, and the airport is only a few minutes by taxi, so arriving and leaving was easy. The pool area was the highlight for us. It has lush tropical landscaping, a pool bar for the adults, and a splash park that kept the kids happy for hours. The beach club shuttle was a great perk. The rooms were modern, clean and bright. Breakfast was good. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It’s also a convenient base for exploring Old San Juan and the rest of the area. We fell in love with San Juan Old Town.

Disliked: Nothing significant. Everything met our expectations, and we’d gladly come back.

Liked: The property was beautiful, well kept, comfortable and many of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Disliked: They double charged me through Booking.com and at their front desk. When I tried to resolve the issue, I was made to seem like I was lying about the charges, was met with a hostile condescending staff member, and had to call an email about a dozen times to finally get it partially resolved. I did recoup the hotel room double charge.. However, my reservation stated breakfast was included and two times the front desk said it would be included and taken off at the end and that was a lie. I was double charged for breakfast for me and my daughters one day and charged the wrong rate for one of the other days. My daughter’s also verified that the staff had told me the breakfast would be included, and ultimately I ended up paying for all the breakfast. I have used Booking.com before in several continents and have never had such a problem as this. Sadly, although the hotel was beautiful, and staff overall were friendly I will not be returning with such shady practices as these..

Liked: Be beautifully maintained property and comfortable rooms.

Disliked: They double charged me through Booking.com and at their place. I had to call and email more than a dozen times to get it resolved and spoke with extremely condescending staff who told me I was lying. Eventually, I did get that portion resolved. I told them my reservation said breakfast was included and they assured me they would include it several times and my children witnessed this, but then I was charged for breakfast. I never did get a refund there and they even charged me wrong prices. If you can afford to be paying double the rate then stay here, but I will not be back. I have used Booking.com in several continents and have never had this problem.
