“Not sound proof”
The room windows are not sound proof - you will sense that in no time if you are unlucky as I was yesterday in Twin room facing big road. Even at night and in early morning. No lace curtains - only thico ones. So if you want some sunlight in the morning as you are getting ready, not possible (unless you don't mind someone will see you half naked) - Hyatt had to increase profit per room by NOT buying a set of lace curtains, God forbid No tea spoons as standard amenity No mineral water bottle as welcome amenity - you are supposed to refill disgusting plastic vessel from the room from some cooler supposedly in the floor.. Noone cares if you aldead tired and prefer to stay in the room upon check in. Water refill bottle is plastic - Hyatt have not heard of the perils of microplastics, obviously... I only paid 20,000 jpy per person without breakfast but I would get better value at some large temple-owned accommodation. Not worth it. Staff was nice on the way out, but less so upon check-in for me as Japanese-speaking resident - blatant overuse of ちょっと待って下さい is hilarious.

“Very big and beautiful, the environment is very good, very clean and tidy.”
This is the accommodation I was most satisfied with during my trip to Japan. It was very spacious, and there was a mini bar on the ground floor. However, it was a bit too far from the 711, not the kind of distance where you can just step out and walk a couple of steps; it was still somewhat far because after a long day of walking, it was inconvenient to go to 711 on the way back. The hotel is directly accessible from subway exit 6, but there are only stairs there. On my first day, carrying my suitcase all the way up the stairs to exit 6 was really exhausting! There were no paper cups and no bottled water, which was also a bit inconvenient! The slippers were very comfortable!

“Wonderful option to stay in Japan kyoto”
One of the best hotels to stay at Kyoto Japan with family and kids. Their facilities are wonderful and practical and staff is so cooperative
