“Could have been much better. Not as advertised.”
Liked: Couch, Pool and TV. Tulum restaurant which can be accessed from the building.
Disliked: Balcony was not open due to renovation work. Pool is not open Monday to Friday due to renovation work. No curtains/blackout in one of the bedroom/ or the living room. noise from the plastic on the balcony flapping in the wind. The photos of the balcony in the listing are not representative of the current state. Sheets from the previous tenant left in the washing machine. Our towels were left in the tumble dryer on arrival, rather than in the bedrooms or bathroom.

Liked: Location
Disliked: We were very disappointed with our stay, especially considering the rate per night. Unfortunately, the apartment did not meet the standards we expected. Some of the main issues were: The main toilet seat was dirty upon arrival. There were stains in the bathtub. We found cockroaches in the kitchen and inside the dishwasher. There was a water leak from the exhaust fan in the main bathroom. Plastic coverings had been placed over the windows, blocking what should have been one of the apartment's main attractions: the view. The blackout curtain in the master bedroom was missing, and the fabric curtain did not fully cover the window, making the room too bright early in the morning. The shower temperature in the main bathroom was difficult to regulate. The main TV remote control did not work. The mattresses were uncomfortable. The pool closed at 6:00 p.m., which is impractical during the summer since the best time to enjoy it is in the evening. Overall, the experience did not reflect the premium price we paid, and we expected much better maintenance, cleanliness, and attention to detail.

Disliked: Old and malfunctioning curtains in one room. Inexistent of curtains in the other. Same to the shower (need to renew). Mattresses, linen and towels are old.

“Lovely condo”
Liked: Comfortable beds. Clean. Building spa amenities. Responsive host when there was maintenance issue and missing hairdryer.
Disliked: cooking utensils and cookware could use improvement

Liked: The views were great.
Disliked: The main bedroom shower was not what I expected. It didn’t feel safe or clean.(see photos)Condo did not have welcoming instructions for do’s and dont’s, TV use etc. Also, hated the towels and liquid shower soaps but not all owners really care about those amenities.

“Great Location but Apartment needs to be renovated.”
Liked: Location, scenic view and host were excellent.
Disliked: The room needs to be updated. The walls are scuffed and stains on the granite. Fixtures were missing from the bathroom. A cockroach was in the kitchen. The elevators system wasn’t effective - super long wait times.
