Liked: Domenico was a great host, directing us to the nearby free parking and showing us the way (~6-7 min walk) to the apartment. He also gave helpful restaurant suggestions and directions to get places. The room was comfortable (but I think the room we had was not as nice as some of the others). Breakfast pastries were excellent. The location was perfect, both quiet and in middle of everything. The bedroom had good overhead lighting plus lamps on each night table. Large closet with hangers. Smallish shower but adjustable shower head. Bed was very firm but comfortable.

Disliked: Fridge was actually plugged into a switchable outlet, which we didn't realize and accidentally turned it off one night. Kitchen lighting overall not great. (The rest of the unit was good.) Windows and natural light minimal. Staff tidied our room twice even though we asked for no cleaning. There were the occasional fruit fly and mosquito in the room. (Cleaning staff opened the window.) TV was small and didn't have Netflix as we had in other Sicily accommodations, but tons of Italian channels.

Liked: Extremely friendly and helpful owner-Domenico. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and activities.

Disliked: Furniture is on the IKEA side of the scale.

Liked: Location was amazing! And the place is beautiful … super clean and Domenico is an amazing host. Before arriving he share all important information about places to go as locals, all detailed with very good tips. Additionally he moved my car to a free parking area very close to the apartment. The homemade breakfast is great. Trapani is a beautiful place to visit and Domenico and the place honored this city.

Liked: Host was very helpful finding free parking for us and answering all our questions. Very good restaurants nearby. Quiet room with good mattress and pillows. Price/value very good.

Disliked: Breakfast was tasty but offering more, even with a little higher price, would be an improvement.

Liked: This spacious room with a kitchenette is very well located and one street over (parallel) to the main pedestrian street in Trapani. It's also a 5 min walk to the port for a ferry ride to the islands. The hosts are super kind and helpful and provided lots of good information. Be aware that English is limited.

Disliked: It would be helpful to have paper towels and napkins in the kitchen.

Liked: Domenico the host was fantastic. He helped with getting our car to a free parking area and gave us all the key restaurants and actities in the area. Spacious and clean room. Very quiet.

Liked: There are many things to like about this place. The owner is super friendly and the location is great. We could walk to everywhere we wanted to go in the old town. The place itself is comfortable. Many people seem to complain about the narrow staircase but this did not bother us because we carry 40L backpacks only.

Disliked: The major reason for giving this an 8 is because there are basically no windows. Clearly this is not the fault of the owner but it is a major factor for us. Had we known this before, we would probably have avoided booking here. The other issue is the breakfast, which was a simple croissant filled with sweet filling. This is entirely subjective, but we felt that it was minimal.

Liked: Domenico was a wonderful host and all his recommendations were very helpful.
