Imperial Hotel

Hotel facility is OK. The room I stayed was very simple and did not provide mineral water nor coffee/tea. Almost at the start of Nathan Road very near to Tsim Sha Tsui Station. Crowded area and food easily available.

Some sound advice, if you are intending to visit Hong Kong and stay at Kowloon area. I will go with the poor reviews 1st then followed by Good ones. 1. Bring your own bath towels if you are a hygiene freak. & a room or toilet scent spray, as the room I stayed in for a total of 9 days, gives a some what musty smell or an odour. 2. Basic features like a wardrobe, additional chair or a seat is lacking. My room just had 1 table, 1 chair and had to share with my room mate. 3. Air Con, even adjusted to a higher temperature of 22-26, the water still drips from the ceiling every 5 mins intermittently. 4. If you intend to stay in the room for long periods during the day or at nights, the TV programs offered are hopeless.. mostly mandarin news and cantonese speaking programs on, hardly any english or other languages movies, so skip watching any tele. 5. Minimum security and anyone (strangers) can access the different levels of the hotel. So you must always keep your hotel room doors tightly shut. Now, for the Good Reviews - 1. Very centrally and conveniently located! In the heard of the city area, shopping belt, loads of eateries, accessible to MTR Trains, Buses and even ferries across to HK island and even other islands around HK. 2. The hotel staff are friendly and approachable, just speak to them nicely and be patient when you need to approach them, as they can be multi tasking at the moment, attending to check in check outs and other enquiries. 3. Value for money, slightly over *** due to the China Golden WeeK when I was there. Otherwise there may be some promotion on Agoda and other websites. 4. The staff can accommodate to your basic needs like extra pillows, room slippers, toiletries and time extension for room during check out day. 5. Ideal stay for 3-7 days holiday, if you are not too particular about the amenities and service this hotel has to offer.

Great location with nearby restaurants and shopping malls. Very near the MTR transit and easy to get taxi if needed.

Checked in before the official time — I arrived at 8:30 AM and the hotel let me check in right away. Really great. The staff were very helpful, friendly, and gave good recommendations; they answered any questions nicely and were lovely. The room had a slight musty smell, but it wasn’t bad. For people who want to focus on sightseeing — wake up and go — it’s perfect. Very convenient: the bus stop is right in front of the hotel, so you can get off and wheel your luggage straight in. Overall, I’d say it’s very good.

The room was a decent size without having to pay a lot. The bathroom was what i am accustomed to with the shower shielded from the toilet. Its not a 4 or 5 star but I would rate it a 3.5. I would have preferred a larger bed and larger tv. the fridge also could have been a little larger. But overall I think its a good value.

Please avoid this Hotel if you can, its great location but with extremely bad conditions of room and washrooms, non-smoking rooms smell of Cigarettes and midnight fire alarms go off

The location of the hotel is definitely recommendable BUT the hotel itself, I won't recommend it to my traveling friends. First day, bathroom light is not working. Second day, bathroom ceiling was leaking and we have to transfer at the 13th floor. Last night, we asked for an UBER or Taxi if they can at least recommend one. The hotel staff told us, when check out just look for an UBER or Taxi outside, its plenty. hahaha
