My home was being extensively renovated so I needed a long-term hotel. During the Golden Week the price at my usual hotel shot up, and after an unpleasant experience at another nearby hotel (IW Hotel) I immediately booked this industrial-style hotel on Agoda. The hotel leans into a nostalgic industrial theme—the decor is thoughtfully done, the rooms aren’t too small, they’re cleaned well, and the air conditioning is strong. If you like themed hotels, it’s worth trying once. However, the hotel has no restaurant or entertainment facilities, and the industrial area has almost no eateries after 8 pm—you’ll need to go to Kowloon Bay or the Kwun Tong residential area for restaurants. It’s not very convenient for a holiday, but it’s a reasonable secondary option if you need to stay here for specific reasons, since the hotel sits between two MTR stations and has many buses below, so transport is convenient.

The hotel is all comfy and tidy, but this is the worst experience I have ever had with a concierge. In the 3 short minutes of checking in, he has some how grown grumpy, impatient and impolite. While asking if I would need any extra purchases for daily items, he mumbled his words and expecting the customer to hear. While he is getting more angry and starting yelling the rest of the things he need to say. Using tone of voice unfitted for a hospitality practitioner. It was disgustingly disappointing and uncomfortable to have such a poor first impression of the stay.

Always prefer this hotel whenever I need a room!

Great for short stays - easy access and clean.

As soon as I arrived to check in, the woman at the night front desk was rude and gave me a scowl. Check-in was slow. She asked if I wanted to buy toiletries; when she said toothbrush and toothpaste I said no because I had brought my own. In the room, I could clearly see quite a few hairs in various places. Both mirrors inside the wardrobe had black spots and the two chairs had white marks. The sheets and towels were stained. In the bathroom there was no hand soap, only a bar of soap. Worst of all, there was no shower gel or shampoo — I’ve stayed at many places and this is the first hotel that didn’t provide them. I called the front desk and she said, “I already asked you if you wanted to buy them.” Her attitude was terrible. I had no choice but to go down to the front desk holding the stained towel to buy a set of toiletries. I found the shower gel looked like it wouldn’t be enough, so I asked to buy another set. She again gave me a sour look and said, “One set is enough for two people,” as if she didn’t want to give me another. She took the towel I had brought down and said she would bring a new towel to the room. I went back up with one set of toiletries, and not long after they did deliver a clean towel. When we showered, that small bottle of shower gel was definitely not enough for two people. If we hadn’t been relatively small, it would have been even worse, but even so we had to ration it and still didn’t feel clean afterwards. Because of the stains on the bed and how tired we were, we didn’t want to deal with the front desk again, so we just used the other side of the bed that looked okay. Two people essentially had to sleep on half a bed. The whole stay was really miserable. Paying HK$1,300 for this “hotel” was a total waste — rude staff, hairs and stains, and it’s not even close to the MTR. And the soundproofing is terrible. It really felt like we paid to be uncomfortable. They even claim to have opened in 2018 — for such a supposedly new hotel to be in this condition is impressive, but not in a good way.
