Inn Cube Taipei Main Station

Second time staying there, near 7-11 and MRT M8 exit and there is a famous rice ball store across the street

It was small and felt cramped, so I don't think I'll stay again, but it was fine for a simple overnight. I liked that it was a private room where you could lock the door, and the location was really convenient.

Great option, entrance to train station is just next to the building

Good option if you want a private room in central location. Room is pretty cosy but the privacy is nice. Shared bathrooms aren’t super clean but do the job

Extremely rude. I've stayed here several times, but this time there was a storm outside and I had booked different room types. I asked if they could notify me when a room was cleaned so I wouldn't have to wait in the lobby until 4 PM. The staff angrily stood up and told me no, that if I booked separately I had to wait until 4. I paid extra to switch to the same room type and they gave me a room next to the shared bathroom — noisy and dated. I ended up booking another place instead, where the staff were very nice. I will never stay here again. Very disrespectful towards guests!

Liked: I loved the location. I booked a small room but I was happily suprised with a window! That was a big bonus for me.

Disliked: The bathrooms could have been nicer. I also saw a picture of the terras, but I couldn't find it. The cables of the TV in the room were very exposed.

I've stayed here many times, but as the facilities have aged it's become a less appealing place to stay. - Staff The quality of the staff has declined. There used to be many pleasant staff members, but on this visit after a long break the male staff member at check-in was very rude. He didn't make eye contact, spoke in a high-handed, very fast, and reluctant way, and just plonked the key down and handed it to me. Everyone else was fine, but it left a bad impression. Even the cashier at the 7-Eleven next door had a much better attitude. - Facilities The dining/table area on the upper floor used to be spacious and pleasant, but now it feels sloppy and uninviting. It seems the upper floor has been converted to accommodate long-term guests staying more than a month. Maybe because of that, the complimentary drinks and other free offerings that used to be available have all disappeared. There was also an oppressive feeling to the space. - Room The walls are extremely thin and there is no soundproofing. You can tell someone is right next door with just a thin panel between rooms. In my case the neighbor snored loudly — so loudly that I could still hear it through earplugs — which made the stay very uncomfortable. Also, for some reason the neighbor had left a lot of trash in the corridor outside their room, and the smell spread and was unpleasant. The location is excellent, right by Taipei Main Station, so it's hard to give this place up. Even so, based on this experience I don't think I'll stay here again unless they renovate.
