Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Centre

We just spent two nights here and loved it. The hotel is located in a very safe, central area that made us feel completely secure. It is incredibly convenient for getting around, sitting just a few minutes walk from Amsterdam Central Station with major tram stops right nearby. Highly recommended as a base for exploring the city!

Overall, my experience at Inntel Hotels Amsterdam was mixed. The hotel has some very positive aspects, particularly its **excellent location** and its **friendly, welcoming, and helpful staff**. However, there were several issues that affected my overall comfort and satisfaction during my stay. The biggest issue was the **very small size of the room**. The room was extremely compact, with very limited space to move around or organize our belongings. The **bed was also quite small**, which made it less comfortable for two people. Another inconvenience was the **lack of a proper mirror in the room**. The only mirror was in the bathroom, while another mirror was placed inside the open wardrobe area where the clothes were hung. This arrangement was not practical because once clothes are hanging there, the mirror becomes difficult or impossible to use properly. A separate full-length mirror in the room would have been much more practical. Regarding **housekeeping and cleanliness**, I was not completely satisfied. In my experience, the room seemed to be mainly tidied up and the rubbish removed, rather than being properly cleaned. I believe the standard of housekeeping could be improved. There was also an issue with the **bathroom sink**. The water tap was very small and positioned in such a way that when washing your hands or taking water, your hands would almost touch the wall of the sink. This made the sink uncomfortable and inconvenient to use. Because of the limited space in the room, there was also **no suitable table or dedicated area for personal belongings**. This was particularly inconvenient for preparing or organizing personal items, especially for women who may need some space for toiletries, cosmetics, and getting ready. The **breakfast was another disappointment**. Compared with other hotels I have stayed in, I found the breakfast quite basic and below the standard I expected. The selection did not seem to cater to a wide range of tastes, and the choices were very similar from day to day. The most unpleasant and concerning issue, however, was the **smell of the plates, glasses, and other tableware at breakfast**. There was a strong, unpleasant and almost musty smell, particularly from some of the glasses. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident—it happened every day during our stay. I cannot say what caused it, but it gave the impression that the dishwasher or the dishwashing process was not being cleaned or maintained properly. This was particularly unpleasant and, from a hygiene perspective, something I believe the hotel management should investigate seriously. Despite these issues, I would like to emphasize that the **location of the hotel is excellent and the staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful**. These were definitely positive aspects of the stay. I hope the hotel takes this feedback constructively, especially regarding **room size, housekeeping, bathroom design, breakfast quality, and most importantly, the cleanliness and smell of the tableware**. Addressing these points would significantly improve the guest experience.

Clean big rooms and walking distance to station and right In the heart of Amsterdam amazing place

Liked: The proximity to station, shops, staff.

Disliked: The bathroom light only works with a sensor for a short time, which is not good when you are in a shower.

Liked: Great stay over-all. The staff was accommodating and offered early check-in since it was available. The gym was nice - ok equipped, with a steam and dry sauna. Great location in the city centre and near the Central station. Honestly, I´d consider staying here again for my next business trip to Amsterdam.

Disliked: Breakfast was ok but could have more variety - particularly day to day; Also, I didn´t see any plant-based milk (I´m lactose-intolerant).

Liked: Location is great, facilities are nice, friendly receptionist but the value is so high for the overall quality

Disliked: Pretty old place, not very modern. Great location though. I also made a reservation for 4 rooms for my friends and I and wanted to cancel for one room only (two months before arrival) but they did not let me although this would have been a win win situation for all, with plenty of time for them to find others. Not flexible at all
