Excellent hot spring facilities, large room and modern amenities. Located on the outskirts of town, difficult to access without a car.

We stayed with our five-year-old and overall thought it was pretty nice. The kids’ playroom is fairly large, and the adults’ communal hot spring is big and great — you can also soak in the room. The room was spacious, but we experienced several unexplained power outages. After notifying the front desk they showed special concern, but it didn’t seem to help and the issue was left unresolved. If you don’t want to eat at the hotel, there are two restaurants on either side and we tried both. One seafood restaurant was excellent. The other, the place that serves pasta and hot pot, I don’t recommend. Their hot pot is actually very expensive, and the owner strictly limits bowl usage — one bowl per person, no extras allowed. That means you have to use the same bowl for buffet soup, hot pot, and rice; they simply won’t let you take another bowl. It felt like an expensive hassle. Are they really that afraid of washing dishes? Also, they save on air conditioning and only turn on one unit, asking guests to change seats. I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but I’m posting this so fellow travelers don’t make the same mistake.
