“Above average”
Liked: Good rooms, clean and comfortable.
Disliked: Very pushy housekeeping service. I stayed at this hotel for two days (2 separate reservations). On the first morning, I left my room and put a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door. The room was clean, my personal things were everywhere, and I didn’t want anyone to enter. A man from housekeeping immediately came to me. He saw the sign but still offered to clean my room. I politely said no and tried to leave, but he continued talking about cleaning and trying to convince me. He said it would only take five minutes and that it would actually be better for him if he could clean my room. I had to repeat that I didn’t want cleaning. That is exactly why I put the sign on the door! On the day of check-out, I left my room and was waiting for the lift, thinking about my day. A woman from housekeeping came to me and asked which room I had left. I told her the room number. A few moments later, she came back and said, “Oh, you left the Do Not Disturb sign on your door. Have you checked out or not? If you have, you need to remove it.” I asked, “Who needs me to remove it? I don’t need to do anything.” I had left the sign there without thinking. It had been on the door for a whole day. I was going to return my key at reception, and the hotel would know that I had checked out. This is a five-star hotel, but I felt like I was staying with relatives and had to explain everything I did and why. I find this kind of service annoying and unnecessary. Hotel staff should respect guests’ privacy and personal space instead of disturbing them without a good reason.

“Sitting by the window at the InterContinental Hotel in Warsaw, having breakfast, with the Palace of Culture and Science right in front of me.”
Located directly opposite Warsaw’s iconic Palace of Culture and Science, and just a 5–10 minute walk from Warsaw Central Station and the Złote Tarasy shopping center. The hotel offers a rich, refined breakfast and a comfortable, cozy stay—an excellent choice for visiting Warsaw.
