InTown Suites Extended Stay Austin TX - Research Blvd

Liked: It was okay but lots of other things I didn't like.

Disliked: It smells lots of mariguana in hall ways and other people had dogs 🐕 that smells horrible

Liked: Nothing

Disliked: Our reservation got cancelled because they were "so overbooked", even though we had this booked almost a month in advanced. Zero notification or emails from booking.com to let us know. Luckily we tried to check in early, giving us time to find another hotel in the area.

This place is really run down and not maintained. The cabinetry appeared to be done by a toddler. The "couch" was so stained and stinky that I wouldn't touch it, at all. The carpet should have been replaced a decade ago. The floor that wasn't carpeted was sticking. You could literally hear your shoes sticking to the floor. The room reeked of B.O. and cigarettes, which was unexpected of an entirely non-smoking building. I finally couldn't take it anymore and moved to another hotel.

Liked: I like the size of the rooms. Ample space for all our belongings.. the vending machines were well stocked.. and that they had an On-site laundry facilities.

Disliked: I didn't like that they advertise that they're "Pet Friendly" when they should say they are only "Service Dog Friendly " I didn't find out until after already hear a week that they do not allow ESA animals at all. Doesn't matter if you have paperwork or not from medical professional or not. If your animal is "Service Animal" you need to provide their certification and picture ID of your animal as well. If I had known that... I wouldn't have stayed here; luckily we had already paid for our days here so they didn't kick us out but if we hadn't they would have.

Liked: Everything was good no problems

Disliked: There isn't anything to dislike

Liked: I had to check out early because the smell.of marijuana was so strong I couldn't breath. I called the office several time.amd.fot.no answer. I wrote management an email and called the office several time to no avail

Disliked: Marijuana smoke

Liked: The lady who checked me in before closing

Disliked: The room was very old but I expected it.

Liked: The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean and the location was convenient

Disliked: The pictures in no way were representative of the actual room. It smelled like weed and cigarettes in the hotel. The cabinets were falling apart and part of the carpet was coming up and the tacks were exposed.
