Iron Gate Hotel & Suites Prague

While the building is historic and location is right into the old town, the service was not good, breakfast was terrible and we were charged for basic amenities like toothbrush and bottled water. The beauty of the property was let down because of this. Won’t recommend to others, there were other properties nearby that you can explore, I would suggest to go with other renowned hotel chains than this.

Liked: The hotel is perfectly located in Old Town so everything we wanted to do was in walking distance. The hotel itself is charming with an over-the-top old world atmosphere. Our suite was very clean, with a huge sittingroom, large bedroom and large bath. The staff went out of their way -- the restaurant maitre'd gave us preferential treatment when we didnt have a reservation and the kitchen packed us a breakfast take away bag when we had an early pickup.

Liked: the room is a work of art. the hotel is 3 minutes away from.the Old Town Plaza

Disliked: Since it is in the Old Town area, the Uber and other taxis cannot drop you near the hotel. From the train station, i was dropped about a hundred meters from.the hotel which keft me dragging my bag on cobble stones. but one can hire the hotel car which alone is allowed to drop guests in front of the hotel itself.

Liked: Our room was spacious and stunning full of old world charm. Breakfast was great with lots of options. The location was perfect within minutes walking of the astronomical clock and Charles Bridge. Truly wonderful.

Disliked: There was some street noise but you can't really get away from that in the Old Town. It wasn't bad and it died down to nothing after midnight.

Liked: Location, history and service.

Liked: Really cool tower suite, nice spa!

Disliked: Breakfast were not worth it. We went out to get breakfast on our second morning even though it was included. 2 blinking lights (occupation sensors?) in the bedroom. Disco while sleeping..

Our stay at the Iron Gate Hotel was a great one. The room was lovely and the staff were approachable and friendly. The breakfast included with our stay was a buffet and was nice, though not stand out. However when we splurged and purchased a breakfast from the menu it was lovely. And a dessert stop one evening certainly did not disappoint!

Liked: Property location ideal Beautiful property and excellent staff I would stay there again but would not get bkfst included plan

Disliked: The breakfast was not well presented. Fruits were not well done Just not appealing Dark area lower level of main
