JOALI Maldives

We had the absolute best time at JOALI for our honeymoon in February. We have stayed at many luxury hotels around the world and this was our favorite one ever! The Villas are stunning, massive, and immaculate. The natural surroundings are gorgeous and the design everywhere in the hotel is top notch. But what really sets it apart is the 6-star service and attention to detail. Every staff member we interacted with from our Jadugar butler (Raai) to the Somm (James) went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. It's not cheap, but its certainly worth it.

Liked: Had better coral reefs than one’s we had previously stayed.

Disliked: ‘Should have used “ JOALI ‘s own seaplane instead of being chartered with commercial sea plane ( I.e trans Maldivian Air)

Liked: Wonderful island and hotel. My kids left in tears. They said that this was the best hotel they had been to.

We came for our honeymoon, and although it was expensive, it was truly the best experience!

We're a couple without kids traveling and we travel each year for our anniversary. We did a lot of research before deciding on Joali Maldives, digging into the reviews of more than 60 5-star resorts throughout the Maldives. We decided on Joali based on the reviews, the uniqueness of the resort, and that it wasn't part of a hotel chain. While it cost more than we had initially planned to spend, it was well worth it. We did not regret our decision at all. We highly recommend Joali Maldives to our family and friends. SERVICE Service was impeccable. It truly is second-to-none and was the best service we've ever experienced. Our butler, Asim, was outstanding. He was helpful, always responsive and never intrusive. We always felt like we had our own personal butler, although we know he had to work with several other villas, it always felt like we had his undivided attention. The staff was always attentive and had genuine smiles on their faces. This wasn't just some of the staff, it was everyone. Another review said the staff always seemed tired but we were there for 7 days and didn’t experience that at all. In fact, we were always impressed by how happy they seemed to be, working there. Travel was seamless and comfortable. We were escorted from the airport to the lounge by the friendliest and most gracious staff. We always knew how long we had to wait and never felt rushed or had to wait too long. Joali's private lounge was comfortable and relaxing. The seaplane going to Joali turned out to be private and only had the two of us on it as there was no one else arriving at our time. We enjoyed the whole journey and we were taken such great care of. VILLA There are so many amazing things Joali did well but the rooms are above and beyond, by far our favorite room we ever stayed in.
