On Friday, the seaplane flew to the island, and the entire journey was very smooth. At the same time, I enjoyed the Friday cocktail dinner! The natural conditions of the entire island are top-notch. Nurse sharks, sea turtles, and blacktip sharks are all seasoned actors. The hardware conditions are also excellent, with each room type being over 100 square meters. I really loved their outdoor bathrooms and water villa design.

My stay was completely stress-free and wonderful from the moment I arrived at Male Airport until I was picked up there! When I first arrived at Male Airport, there were staff members holding a sign with the hotel name, so I followed them to the seaplane boarding area. We were lucky with our timing and could board the seaplane right away with little wait. After about a 20-minute flight on the seaplane, we switched to a jet boat and arrived in about 2 minutes. It was a great transfer, allowing us to enjoy the scenery of the Maldives from the air without taking too much time. Upon arriving at the hotel island, staff greeted us and explained the hotel while we enjoyed a welcome drink, then guided us to our room. We opted for an all-inclusive plan, and the staff had already made reservations for activities included in the plan, which made it very easy to use. Additionally, changes to reservations could be made smoothly through an app. We could borrow snorkeling gear for free, allowing us to swim freely in the sea. It was thrilling to see turtles about three times while swimming just in front of our room! We spotted baby sharks almost every day! There were so many corals that just swimming near the room allowed us to see plenty of fish! There were also billiards, table tennis, and board games, which is a nice point as it provided entertainment even on rainy days. For sports, there was a gym and reservation-required pickleball, which we also used a lot! Here are the benefits of the all-inclusive plan: - The minibar in the room was free, and we could request one additional item per day. - Drinks and food at the bar were free to order (some items were excluded, but only high-end ones, generally everything was included). - The buffet restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was available for free. - Two reservation-required restaurants for dinner could be used for free (some menu items had additional charges, but generally everything was included). - One healthy lunch at the spa could be enjoyed for free during our stay (reservation required). - One free photo session could be done during our stay (reservation required). - Free sea kayaking was available (reservation required). There might be more than this, but these are the ones we recognized. The restaurants were delicious, but I also recommend trying the fritters and hamburgers at the bar, as they were surprisingly tasty during our stay! The island was compact enough to get around in about 10 minutes on foot, which I enjoyed as it allowed for a relaxing experience without moving stress. I would love to go again, and it was such a wonderful stay that I found myself thinking about future plans on the way back!

Every single staff member went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We felt completely at home throughout our stay and never felt out of place. Here is a detailed breakdown of our experience: Food (5/5 overall | 4/5 for Indian travelers): The culinary experience was fantastic. For Indian guests who prefer a bit more spice and heat, it might feel like a 4/5 initially, but Chef Mikael and his team were incredibly accommodating, customizing dishes perfectly to our taste. We certainly preferred Ke-Un to Nonna for the a la carte food. Food at the spa bar was also very good. Service (10/5 - Beyond Exceptional): The hospitality here is unmatched. A huge thank you to Ms. Nisha, Sanchita, and the rest of the team for making us feel so comfortable. The reception team—including Mr. Athoof, Ms. Lina, and Ms.Samira—was wonderfully helpful and accommodating. A special shout-out to Mr. Dennis and his bar team for the excellent drinks and flawless service. Mr. Dennis is a phenomenal sommelier whose deep knowledge of wines and beverages truly stood out. House Reef & Snorkeling (3/5 for Reef | 5/5 for Service): The house reef itself is decent but not the healthiest. However, we still managed to see turtles and reef sharks! Because we do not know how to swim, we were a bit nervous, but Mr. Sharey was incredibly calm, patient, and reassuring. Guiding us through the water was an absolute joy. Activities & Amenities: We thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary photography session with Mr. Hillman, which was a lot of fun. Our package also included a sunset cruise, which was a beautiful experience. While we didn’t use the spa, the facility is clearly well-equipped and the staff appeared highly professional. Other info: you need to take a seaplane to get to the island from the airport. The airport team will pick up up and take you to the seaplane lounge and drop you to the airport entrance on returning. You won't be able to enter Male City if you dont specially plan for it. You won't need an extra sim card for maldives since we had wifi in the lounge and resort. Verdict:This resort is perfect for a 5 to 6-day trip. We highly recommend booking the Premium Inclusive Package, as it is worth every penny. If you are looking for a place to unwind, relax, and still enjoy great activities, Kagi Maldives is the place to be!.

Absolutely loved our stay at Kagi Maldives! 🩵🌴 Everything was just perfect — from the beautiful villa, crystal-clear water, amazing food and the peaceful atmosphere. The whole resort feels so private, relaxing and beautifully maintained. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly and attentive throughout our stay. We genuinely felt so well taken care of. 🥹 Kagi gave us exactly the peaceful getaway we needed. Waking up to the ocean, enjoying the beautiful views and just slowing down… it was truly unforgettable. 🤍 We left feeling completely relaxed and already missing this place. Definitely one of the most beautiful resorts we’ve ever stayed at. 🥰 Thank you, Kagi Maldives, for such a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be back! 🌊✨
