Two people used it. We took the Hankyu Kyoto Train from Osaka and arrived after about a 10-minute walk with left and right turns at a nearby station. Overall, the condition of the room was good and it was quiet. There is a subway station and bus stop right in front, and it's about a 25-minute walk to Kawaramachi Station, with a charming neighborhood scenery along the way. The large public bath was also clean and nice compared to other places I’ve been to. I stayed for two nights; the prices were different, but I was happy to have a very good price on the following day... During my time in Kyoto, I moved between four hotels, but I think next time I would be happy to just stay here. It was stated that most places in Japan do eco-cleaning, but they also basically set everything up again.

Our favourite part of the trip was Kyoto and I think it had a lot to do with where we were staying. It was super neat and the location was perfect.

The hotel is located near Gojo Station, about a 10-15 minute walk to Kawaramachi Station. If you can walk without difficulty, this hotel is recommended for its quiet location compared to the bustling city center. The large public bath is well-equipped, and the facilities were very clean and nice. However, the windows are completely opaque, which can feel stuffy as they cannot be opened. Aside from that, all services and spaces were great!

1. Breakfast choice is limited & daily menu same. 2. Hotel Location-Good 3. Room cleanliness need improvement & attention to detail in cleaning. 4. Some HK staff meet on floor no greeting especially lady staff, i believe the staff is not Japanese. 5. Check out at 11am too early, v only managed to check in at 3pm. 6. FO staff very courteous & helpful. 7. Room pillow is small, maybe cater for Japanese guest standards. 8. Onsen facility was good and can relax after a long day of walking. 9. Room without safe box facility needs consideration.

Liked: -hotel staff were very helpful polite and friendly. - room is big and hotel is very clean and room get cleaned daily. - water/ice machine is available for free every floor in addition to laundry room every second floor. - the onsen in the hotel is really good and clean and open till 1 am and eveything is provided for body wash shampoo face wash creams hairdryer.. perfect after a long sightseeing day. - Location: quiet, and around 20-25 min walk to main attractions. Family markets and drug stores directly close to hotel.

Disliked: There is nothing

This is the hotel where I stayed during my first trip to Kyoto. It is clean, and the staff are friendly. I added an extra day to my reservation due to my mistake, and I appreciate that they accommodated me in one room. It is located between two stations, making it easily accessible, and the surrounding area is relatively not too crowded, which is nice and quiet.
