“The reception is very cold and quiet; having been to over 60 countries, my senses are very keen.”
The front desk had issues intermittently during my week-long stay and I had to deal with them several times. Each person felt very cold and unwelcoming — I don’t know if it was because I have an East Asian appearance, but questions often went unanswered. I’ve been to over 60 countries and I have a keen sense for these things. Consider other options; there are better choices.

“A hotel that exudes elegance.”
The front desk staff were pleasant, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is large, so I think elderly guests should request a room near the elevators. This is especially important if you’re moving around with a large suitcase.

“Spectacular hotel with good location”
The design itself is quite a mix of classical and modern atmosphere。It has the features of a boutique hotel but the interior is more spectacular. The ballroom is at ground floor and if you happen to encounter events going on like a wedding party, the sound might be annoying to you. I went back to hotel early at night and the noisy music continued until 15 minutes to 11PM. I told the hotel about the situation, and they provided me complementary breakfasts while I am staying there as an apology which showed the hotel's good attitude to truly treat customers as valued。

“The cost-performance ratio is not high.”
The hotel is located near the British Museum, about 1 km from the main shopping area — walking that distance every day can be tiring, but the benefit is it's relatively quiet. The room quality is guaranteed, but the double bed is very small and the room itself is tiny; if three or more people stay, you won't be able to open your luggage. I found the breakfast a bit stingy — the main dishes cost extra, and the buffet felt limited. It doesn't feel on par with five-star quality, and it's not cheap, so I don't think the value for money is high.

“Hotel was fine but restaurant experience was unpleasant”
Wanted to try the dinner at the Fitz’s Brasserie and had certain expectations. Staff were not sure whether dinner credits could be used on à la carte or not, different staff had different response. Waited for almost an hour to find out our starters were missing and sent to another table. Served us with ice cream of wrong flavours. Staff claimed there was a problem with kitchen staff, the experience felt unprofessional and unpleasant.
