Liked: Needed accom on the night at last minute

Disliked: Price as a footy grand final had increased prices and made rooms rare.

Beware bed bugs. Great price, but there is a cost!

Stayed overnight,safe location and no elevator but reception manager was very helpful he helped me with my bag and ensured I felt safe as a solo female traveller.I would absolutely stay here again and the location is good for transit or longer stay and easily accessible to city sights or for a quiter strip of the city.Ecclectic and stylish feel with very clean bathroom I recall.

Liked: Nothing, people rate this place highly on its location. I would in fact suggest that everything else about this hotel removes any benefit of a good location. It is a dump!

Disliked: The cockroaches in the room, the cigarette smell in the carpets, the mold in the bathroom, rooms that haven't been renovated or looked at since the 90s. I would not suggest anyone stays here.

Liked: The staff are really friendly and welcoming. They were the only ones that made this place bearable as they went above and beyond to make things comfortable like early check-in and providing excellent service. There's a good sushi place and a really nice cafe next to it as well.

Disliked: The room had quite a few issues but the most pressing is that the walls are paper thin so I could hear everything, and I mean EVERYTHING that the upstairs and neighboring room guests were saying or doing. The chair in my room had a broken button on the cushion that not only scraped me but also ripped one of my pants. The building itself is in a poor location for cell service where I had almost zero bars my entire stay. I found myself having to rely on the slow but free wifi that kept dropping connection. The bathtub strangely narrows near the drain, which is a problem as the overhead shower splashes water everywhere and makes it very easy for you to trip. No elevators, no microwave, and the AC had this dusty smell. There was construction being done on the street during my stay so the tradies would smoke and the smell would fill the room, there was always loud noise, and getting into the hotel made the tradies annoyed because I was crossing a blockade which they put directly in front of the hotel, which was the way to get in. Bugs would crawl/fly in through the window in the bathroom which didn't have any screen protection. The building is also located on a street that's basically a wind tunnel. Would not recommend because of all of these issues.

Great location as it was walking distance to where we needed to get to for our last stay. The hotel is also very close to great eateries as well as the CBD. The room was a tad small for 2 people to navigate through together but overall it was manageable.

It’s an okay stay. Room was not that clean. The location is great and near a lot of restaurants. The staff is quite friendly though so there’s a silver lining.

Stayed here for 2 nights while I solo travelled in Sydney. Staff was very friendly and room was clean and nice. Location was close to city, very nice to walk around.
