L7 WEST LAKE HANOI by LOTTE HOTELS

The Lotte Shopping Center is directly connected to the front desk, so you don't have to worry about rain. Also, at check-in they upgraded my room to a lake view. Thank you!! The only disappointing thing was that after check-in, while I was resting in my room, a hotel staff member used a master key to open the door and come in without knocking. The staff seemed surprised too; when I asked why, they said they were carrying something for the laundry and had mistaken the room, then left. I don’t know if that was true, but if I hadn’t been in the room, something might have been taken... If at least they had knocked I would have answered. That was the only downside.

1. The staff were terrible — not 5-star at all. For a proper 5-star experience you should stay at a hotel chain. The employees seemed inexperienced and young, not what you expect from a true 5-star property. 2. The food was disappointing. The pho wasn’t tasty, and the croissant was almost inedible — nothing like the first time I stayed. 3. The only good thing is that it’s close to the mall. 4. This will be my last stay.

Liked: Sauna, pool, bakery and connected to the mall and easy access to airport.

Disliked: Missing place to hang wet swim suits after pool. Hot jacuzzi at pool and cold tub at sauna.

This was my first visit to Hanoi and I stayed 3 nights at L7 WEST LAKE HANOI by LOTTE HOTELS on a friend's recommendation. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was tasty. You do need to use Grab for most getting around, but everything was reachable within about 25 minutes. I prefer a quiet neighborhood, which is why I chose L7, and if I visit again I’ll probably stay on the West Lake side. I’m very satisfied for the price — it’s a great value hotel for a staycation. The staff were genuinely kind. I’d love to come back and have another staycation. ^^

Amazing

I stayed at L7 WEST LAKE HANOI by LOTTE HOTELS during my trip to Hanoi and was very satisfied. All of the hotel's facilities were clean and luxurious, so I felt good throughout my stay, and the food was delicious, making me enjoy even the meals. After tiring sightseeing, I was able to relax comfortably at the hotel and truly heal. Overall the atmosphere was nice and well maintained, so I stayed comfortably without any inconvenience. I recommend it to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy their trip, rather than just using a hotel for sleeping. If I return to Hanoi, this is a hotel I would like to stay at again. 😊

Beautiful new hotel attached to a modern mall. Great rooftop pool and wonderful restaurants and bars. Very chic.
