La Casa Hotel Nha Trang

When booking, there was a note for a double bed room, but upon arrival, the staff informed us that there were no rooms available. We had to accept this, but the air-conditioned room was broken, so we requested to change rooms, but the staff refused to allow a change even though we knew they had available rooms. We had to go out for 4 hours to let them fix it, even though it could be repaired. If they cannot meet the request for the room, they should note that this is a room with 2 beds or one bed for customers to choose from; they should not merge the information regarding double beds and 2 beds together. Even though the customer made a request beforehand, it was also not fulfilled as desired. The hotel is quite old; compared to that price, it may be acceptable, but the service is not good.

Personally, I believe the standards cannot reach 4 stars: - Poor sound insulation, can clearly hear outside - Air conditioning makes a clattering noise, set to 18 degrees but not cold enough, looks very old. - The showerhead is clogged, looks like it hasn’t been maintained - The pool in the basement is very dark, no activity visible. - No parking lot for cars, can only park one vehicle right in front of the hotel.

The rooms at this hotel were honestly really great — beautiful furniture, nice wooden flooring, and overall a very comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. The rooms themselves were definitely the highlight of my stay. The staff was also very kind and helpful, especially the young woman at the reception, who was always welcoming and professional. However, during my stay in early May, there was very loud construction work happening. My first room was directly facing the construction site, and the noise was unbearable, so I had to request a room change. To their credit, the hotel upgraded me to a larger room at no extra cost, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, even in the new room, the noise was still noticeable despite not facing the construction directly. One other thing I would suggest improving is the carpets in the hallways, which looked quite dirty and stained. Aside from that, the hotel itself is very nice, and again, the rooms are genuinely excellent.

Location for me is good. Not very central but not far from everything. And less noisy then central places. Stuff is ok, they upgraded me a room, they has different type of rooms. Some room has no window.! And some could be more noisy because near was building construction works.. room size is good, bed also it's ok. The big plus is there is a kitchen for everyone with terrase and washing machine.! There is a swimming pool but I didn't visit it.

I didn’t check the room fully when I first got it. The toilet was so gross to me. It smelt so bad and full of hair. The shower was not working plus noisy construction. I left after one night!! The building is so old and dull like in horror movie.

The room is quite good, but the bathroom smells really bad, the shower's water pressure is weak, and the water is not hot. The hallway is a bit dark, which is somewhat frightening, but the staff are lovely.

One of the two staff members was really great, but when I left, it was a different person. The lobby has an open space and is spacious, which was good for personal work. Moreover, there is a rooftop with such a wonderful view. Everything else was nice, but that part was the best.
