“Relaxing, refreshing, comfortable and welcoming.”
Liked: My 3rd visit and it didn't disappoint. Staff friendly and welcoming. Room clean with large terrace and oversized hammock overlooking pasture. Food consistently good as were cocktails. New restaurant was beautiful, but came with very unsafe walk in pitch blackness as they have no lights. Pool was relaxing and quiet. Look forward to a 4th visit in the future.
Disliked: safety issue on walk to restaurant, they knew about, however, hadn't addressed in six weeks new restaurant location was open. Also, hut tub didn't work, it was colder than pool.

Liked: Beautiful grounds, like a sanctuary in the middle of nowhere.
Disliked: All the animals, greenery, the rooms and the restaurant.

Liked: Our room was beautifully decorated, the shower was excellent and easy to use, the staff was exceptional in every detail, the horses are beautifully cared for and in excellent condition and health, The breakfast was fresh and delicious, The menu for supper was outstanding and the food was beautifully prepared and presented,
Disliked: I cannot think of anything for this category- every aspect of La FInca Lodge exceeded our expectations, from the gorgeous pool and hot tub (with macaws and toucans in the trees nearby) to the delicious food, so fresh, to the comfortable accomodations was amazing.

Liked: We stayed in a double bed villa which was very clean and comfortable (nice beds, big shower, working a/c).The food and drinks at the restaurant were amazing, so fresh! The staff were extremely kind, helping us book the private ATV tour to beautiful hot springs, recommending local coffee shops, and offering advice for the rest of our trip. The lodge itself is away from the touristy area of La Fortuna (about a 40 minute drive) which felt very peaceful and serene. The flowers and animals around the farm were fun to explore. I highly recommend staying at La Finca Lodge if you are looking to experience a high quality experience.
