Lancemore Mansion Hotel Werribee Park

Getting alittle dated but beautiful grounds.

Liked: The entire stay from start to finish:)

Disliked: There was nothing I didn't enjoy

Great place to stay wonderful atmosphere great service and great location close to shopping centres and attractions

Liked: Since the booking day the communication was amazing, all the information received very clear and the service of the reception exceptional, thanks!

Disliked: ALl great

Liked: Great location surrounded by beautiful gardens. Lovely and friendly staff. We had dinner at Joseph’s and the food was amazing, the younger staff excellent. We would eat here again.

Disliked: We walked into our room and thought we were in a prison cell!! The bathrooms have stainless benches and sinks, broken floor tiles a very industrial decor, it was such a disappointment for such a grand building it’s extremely disappointing. The whole vibe / decor, artwork etc throughout the buildings was so disjointed. The breakfast extremely disappointing no tomatoes or vegetables, minimal choices the breakfast bar small and pokey, I’ve travelled extensively all over the world and this was one of the worst experiences Ive had in what COULD be an amazing property.

We had 3 nights at the lovely Lancemore manor. The accommodation was just lovely and made you really feel like you were somewhere special. The grounds were incredible! We went out for a little stroll and returned 3 hours later! There is a heated indoor pool, spa and steam rooms, which were opened for most of the day which was nice. The spa could have been a little warmer and unfortunately the steam room in the male change rooms wasn't working. The one in the females was lovely. Breakfast was in a beautiful space and very delicious. The staff were all just lovely and always willing to help too.

Liked: Location, location, location - beautiful ground, clean, comfortable rooms friendly staff.

I would love to say how wonderful this place is since my trip here last year but it has sadly deteriorated. The furnishings are dated and really don't align with the majesty of the Werribee Mansion. The carpets were dirty down all the hallways like they hadn't been vacuumed. The stainless steel appointed bathrooms are cold and clinical. The black furniture shows up how little dusting the place gets...the back of our door was so filthy we could write please wash me on it. The room we were relocated to due to the AC not working had filth around the drain in the bath and a step in shower...needless to say we were put off showering, although the receptionist was lovely and accommodating moving us. The breakfast was very sad. Overly sweetened bircher, undrinkable coffee but was charged for a hot chocolate, mould on the raspberries. As for the snooker table...the dust was as deep as the cushions on the tables. So sad to see this decline when it has so much potential. Do better Lancemore and we might return.
