“A relaxing stay in Hamburg”

Liked: We had a wonderful stay at Le Méridien Hamburg. The hotel is conveniently located close to the central station. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast in the rooftop restaurant was excellent, with stunning views over the Außenalster. The staff were exceptionally attentive and friendly, housekeeping was impeccable, and our room was cleaned to a very high standard every day. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and we would happily return to this hotel.

“I don’t recommend staying at this hotel”

Liked: The AC was not working and it was very hot in late August. We had to change the room after many requests.

Disliked: The staff was not cooperative. The hotel didn’t have good facilities.

Liked: The location is amazing. It’s right on the lake, and within walking distance to Lange Reihe, where there are plenty of restaurants. The breakfast was delicious with amazing variety. The heritage restaurant and rooftop bar were very beautiful as well and great food. The room was spacious even with our family of four staying there.

Disliked: Unfortunately all of the pool and spa facilities were closed for maintenance yet we still paid full price. The gym is well stocked but very limited for space. We had a stretch back in the room. Due to these reasons, we felt the value per night wasn’t worthwhile.

Liked: Gorgeous room & view of lake. Lovely roof top bar. Staff very nice. Breakfast very good - and it was served overlooking the lake on the 9th floor

Disliked: You weren’t allowed to open the doors to the balcony - which was a bit strange.
