“A beautiful and relaxing stay with amazing food, a spacious room, wonderful hospitality”
Liked: The place was absolutely fantastic, and we genuinely enjoyed every part of our stay. Raheem was incredibly kind and upgraded our room to a family room, which was surprisingly spacious, comfortable, and had a beautiful, bright and relaxing vibe. The food was really delicious, and everything we had was fresh and satisfying. The hospitality was one of the best parts of the stay because the staff were so friendly, welcoming, and treated us like family. The location was also very convenient, with easy access to Haputale town, which is only around 10 minutes away. Overall, it was a peaceful, comfortable, and memorable experience, and we felt very well taken care of throughout our stay.
Disliked: Nothing. Everything was great. Honestly, everything was well taken care of, and the warm hospitality made the whole experience even better. We would definitely be happy to stay here again.

“Well situated, lovely staff clean rooms”
Upon arrival the hosts greeted us with a lovely pot of black lipton tea and arranged us a scooter instantly for reasonable price, for the duration of the stay! The rooms were well equipped and everything worked. Hot shower, comfy bed and blanket and gave us a kettle and cups for the room when asked. There's plenty to do in the area via bike, trek or tuk tuk and when our scooter broke down on the third day we called the guesthouse and they arranged us another scooter to ne brought to us within the hour, which was a lifesaver! The breakfast was large and tasty and honestly the hosts couldn't do enough for us with tips and advice. Other reviews have commented on unfriendedlyness from the hosts and the view was looking over shantys (this is really disrespectful as not everyone is as fortunate as us). But we found the opposite and if you simply look up at the mountain you dont have to look at them. If your coming straight from the beach be aware it is very cold at night, so wrap up warm and the late morning to early afternoon the weather is much hotter. Would highly recommend staying here.

“Room with a view”
The room has a fantastic view from the balcony. The hotel is very basic (no frills) and if U just need a place to sleep than this is the place for U. It is run by a family who also stay at the premise. We wanted to get out early the next morning but realised the main door was locked. It is about 15 minutes walk to the town but beware of the street dogs. They are territorial and looks very fierce. There is a small eating place run by the family. We ordered dinner from the family as we arrived quite late in the evening and it was cold and wet. We did not discuss the price with the family and we realised we paid a lot for what we ate. However, the food was nice and we enjoyed it.

“Exceeded expectations!”
Liked: The rooms were relatively spacious and comfortable, the toilets were relatively large and clean, and the staff was lovely! They even packed some (free) sandwiches for us, before we went out on the Pekoe trail. Great location. Highly recommended!
