Liverpool Sefton Park Hotel by Dancenter

Disliked: We checked in tv would not work in room moved to another room with no electric complained but ended up staying in that room needed to charge phone have a drink was put in another room to charge phones have cup tea still no tv working was not offered a courtesy breakfast apology or nothing we now have a flight to catch with hardly any charge on out phones and very disappointed at the service. We were recommended to stay here but will never do again

Disliked: False advertising of the hotel we turned up to The sefton park hotel to be told there's another hotel 10 mins down the road which was the Liverpool Agiburth Hotel whis was intact our hotel but with the sefton park hotel name? Check in was a nightmare I had to call a number and the manager would send me a code for the door and gave me instructions for the room...3 mins later a young boy came and said are we here to check in..it was very miss match. The room was atrocious..dust everywhere where we put our wedding clothes which was the wardrobe and floors. The lighting in the room was poor and some of the buts were not there or had blown. The kettle was dusty. The bathroom was disgusting hair in corners of the floor pink mould in the shower head and on the walls. Black mould in the revision of the shower door. The bathroom radiator was rusty!!. Even worse wanted a shower and there was no hot water so I turned on the sink tap on the hot end and brown dirt came from the water and intact kicked in the hotness of the shower. I did contact the manager when I was at our wedding party and he apparently checked it and asked if we wanted to move rooms. I declined as we were leaving Saturday the 26th in the morning. The bedroom windows safety latch had broken and the window opened that wide if a child opened it he or she would have fallen out. We also spoke to a member of staff when we checked in about having breakfast 09:00am till 11:00am we were told so we said we will come down at 09:30am Friday morning it turned out that we came down at 10am and not even a hint of smell for breakfast. In fact for the money our overall experience was poor I will never come here again.

Disliked: Window didn't close so cool air entered the room all the time

Disliked: Absolutely disgusting and would let my dog stay here! Room was rotten, stains all over the carpet, the carpet wasn’t secured to the floor so it came up when we opened the door, mouse droppings in the bathroom. Hair all in the bath and plug holes, hair balls all over the floor from a previous person. Make things worse I’ve requested a refund which got refused and as a token of good will they gave me £8 back!!!! Absolute joke of a place and pathetic from booking.com Didn’t even stay in the property it was that disgusting

Liked: Nothing. the room was dirty, the room and halls stank of cigarette smoke. the chair in the room was filthy and covered in paint. the water in the sink was coming out brown. the shower was dribbling and dangerously scolding hot, no bedside lighting, only one bedside table and when we complained they did not offer any help and are trying to not refund us our money even though we had to go elsewhere and pay for a different hotel at the last minute before our event

Disliked: It was run down no hot water, carpets were thread bear, curtains hung on nails

Liked: Nothing we left, the place was filthy and disgusting

Disliked: Everything. More like a building site than a hotel, Avoid at costs.
