“Wow”

After may hrs scouring forums and reviews, we decided on Los Lagos. We stayed late October, not crowded at all and incredible grounds…we planned going to a fancy hot springs as a day outing, while in La Fortuna area, before we arrived at Los Lagos but no need. This place has it included on their property. If I understand correctly 8 varying temp hot pools and 4 cool pools. All clean, clean, clean. Would I recommend staying here? Yes indeed. PS the breakfast was included with good selection of local cuisine and omelette station. Pura Vita

“Waterslides”

Our kids had endless fun on water slides on resort and exploring the hot pools. Shuttle service around ground as villas are far away. Staff are awesome and friendly with kids. Recommend.

“Good facilities.”

Liked: The breakfast and facilities were good enough for my family to relax. I love the thermal pools with different levels of temperature. The nature cool temperature pools were good for kids and adults. Just the location is little far from San Jose. The road is narrow with caution.

“Noise all day long.”

Liked: Great breakfast. Lots of thermals. Great view of Arenal. Property has an excellent look out point.

Disliked: Just be aware this is more of a family themed water park, less of a adult spa. Expect a lot of screaming kids running around all day. A worker was using a gas powered leave blower next to the outdoor restaurant at breakfast. Two work trucks actually crashed into one another on the hotel grounds, how they managed to do that on a 20km/h path is beyond me. Last, our room was next to a construction site for new building, so we got construction noise all day.
