“Sensory experience to all your senses in every detail. The quietness was almost absolute.”
Liked: Even thought I have been in La Fortuna so many times, this time I wanted a place to be very comfortable as well as first class accommodation and affordability. The room was big with beautiful wooden furniture, yacuzzi, open bathtub paired with rock walls and a quiet terraza facing the Arenal volcano. All the property is full of vegetation and wilderness. Staff were very friendly and attentive. I spend four days and decided not to leave the property to enjoy it. The two swimming pools (hot and cold) had the right temperature. I had a great time there.
Disliked: Everything was fine. Nothing to complain about.

“The best experience of all!!!”
Liked: The place is GORGEOUS!!! We had the best time at room, sauna, pool, nature, vista of Volcan, trail (puma), staff, breakfast, food, and location. It could not have been a better experience🩷 we thank you so much for the lovely opportunity, we felt very lucky to end up there, thanks to Booking!!! 🩵

“Beautiful Resort Surrounded by Nature”
Liked: We had a wonderful stay at Lost Iguana Resort. The resort is absolutely beautiful, very clean, and surrounded by nature and wildlife, which makes the whole experience feel really special. The location is also great, just next to the Hanging Bridges. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. One thing to know is that some of the villas are quite far from the reception and restaurant, but they have a golf cart shuttle service — you just need to call and they’ll come pick you up, so it was never really an issue. Breakfast was very good, and we also really enjoyed the food at the restaurant. Overall, a beautiful place, great service and a lovely experience in La Fortuna. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Disliked: The only downside for us was that we found the restaurant quite expensive, especially considering the rooms are already on the pricier side. That being said, the food itself was very good.

“Very nice property but would chose a close to town location with hot springs and better eating options”
Liked: Very nice rooms and premium property with an amazing spread for breakfast, good pools and friendly staff
Disliked: A little far from town and tucked in, was dark and not easy to find the first time around Gym was not well equipped at all, particularly if someone wanted to get their weight training in Not close to hot springs and very pricey and limited restaurant on site

“Loved it! Magical place!!!”
Liked: Wonderful location and jungle setting with amazing view of volcano. Very unique! Loved it The food was delicious! It has a hiking trail thru the jungle and the service wonderful!

“Such a restorative stay the The Lost Iguana”
Liked: The Lost Iguana is a great spot. We like that it is more remote and away from the center of town and so close to Mistico. The warm and cold pool are a refreshing spot to land after long treks in the jungle. The Puma Trek is a nice new addition and we enjoyed the spa treatment too!
Disliked: We didn’t like driving at night from dinner in town.
