LOTTE HOTEL SAIGON

The room, especially the bathroom, showed signs of wear over time, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable, and I liked that there was a small convenience store just to the right of the entrance. Breakfast was ordinary, but the staff were friendly and approached us first, which was nice. The spa seems to fill up quickly on weekends, so book in advance. (I only found a discount coupon the night before checkout, so I was disappointed I couldn’t make a reservation.)

Taxes on service and alcohol are way too excessive. When booking through Agoda it said taxes and service charges were included. But for breakfast and dinner at the hotel they added large taxes on the service and on alcohol.

Hotel was execellent except staff service, especially breakfast buffet. When I order coffee, 2 times of 8 times were late or 1 time was not serviced. Thus, I picked it up myself. And the staffs were not smile and looks uphappy. I was upset for this reason. This is not Japanese and Korean style hotel staff service. Thanks.

She locates by the River. It’s a bit traffic at 5-6pm. Furniture is too old. Need to upgrade.

The facilities are old, but well maintained and clean. The pool is very clean.. The staff member (male) I met on Friday and Saturday mornings was extremely kind. He was a staff member with a wonderful smile.

One night stay due to flight cancellation. Our room was on the 17th floor and had a lovely view. Breakfast had n extensive selection.

The pool isn’t deep but it’s fairly large and located in an open area on the first floor, so it’s great for getting into a holiday mood. The gym is well maintained, though I’d like to see some of the equipment updated. The dining has improved a lot compared with last year — especially the dinner buffet, which is much better. Locals were comparing it a lot with Nikko, and it’s definitely improved. One downside: there wasn’t a single Korean staff member at the front desk. With so many Korean guests, even five-star hotels in Bangkok usually have at least one Korean-speaking employee.

The staff are very friendly and the facilities are clean. The location is a bit awkward for getting to the tourist spots, and I'm not sure it offers any standout advantages for the price. If you go deeper into District 1's tourist area, there seem to be many more cost-effective and walkable places to stay. The LOTTE HOTEL SAIGON itself is very nice!
