“Lack of cleanliness”
Liked: This hotel is close to the subway station and convenience stores.
Disliked: The room was quite dusty, and it seemed like the bedsheets hadn’t been changed or properly washed. There was also a TV in the room, but unfortunately, it wasn’t working.

“You get what you paid for.”
Liked: It was located near the Cheongae Stream. It was nice to go on nightly walks with the kids so that we can walk of excess calories. The owner was available via phone, text, or booking chat. They allowed us to check in early which was a huge help. There was ample towels that was replaced in the shelf everyday. You can take the used towels to a basket in the hallway, and taking the used towels out helped keep the room tidy. The price was low compared to other places nearby.
Disliked: Overall, the facility is old, dim, cramped, and requires an update. When looking at the pictures, we didn't have high expectations. We corkscrew even find the place on Naver Map. The lights flickered, and when we told the owner, she offered to exchange it. We were so exhausted that decided to just twist it enough, so that it wouldn't flicker anymore. The bathroom was really dark, but you could still see the tiles were starting to pull off of the wall. The door in the bathroom was not leveled, so we couldn't close the door all the way. The TV was placed in an awkward location that made it hard for viewing. The beds were uncomfortable. You could feel and hear the springs underneath you. There was no floor space to unpack the bags, so we had to layout the bags on the bed every night. We didn't even attempt breakfast once we saw it was just bread and various jam. The AC is so old and so loud that we could only sleep if it was turned off. However, the walls are so thin, you can hear the neighbors when the unit is turned off.

“Only those who are not sensitive may go.”
I made a last-minute reservation, and it was great because there were 4 beds for the number of people, breakfast included, and parking was available. The location was also good as it was near a subway station. However, when I entered the room, I was taken aback. I had the air conditioning running all night, but I could hardly sleep due to the noise of the machine, and there was a thick layer of dust. The TV was half hidden behind the bunk bed. The bathroom was fine, but the hostel feel and many shortcomings were evident. It doesn't seem suitable for those with children. It’s definitely a place for those who just want a cheap place to sleep. There’s a good walking route nearby, but I found there weren’t any food places close by.

“It was pretty bad...”
Liked: They have some stale or soggy bread and jam (in a huge communal package that ran out) and water machine in the mornings and one day they even had little individually packaged croissants which was probably the best part of our stay.
Disliked: Our rooms did not look anything like the pictures. I think it was not even fit to be a "love motel" although maybe that's what it was with the LED lights on the ceiling? It was dirty, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, it was so cramped that there was barely any room to open luggage on the floor, definitely nowhere to unpack, the hallways were cluttered with dirty mattresses and towels and cleaning cart that doesn't look like it's ever been used, it was just an awful place. If it were dirt cheap, maybe you can say, "you get what you pay for" but the price we paid was total highway robbery. It was late and we were tired so agreed to stay one night and hope they would refund the following 2 nights but they would not and it was too expensive to book another place on the fly so we stayed out as much as possible to avoid this place. It is self-service meaning nobody is there at the front office and you are told to grab a certain key and go to your room. There are no elevators, the walls are super thin, the plumbing is extremely loud from other rooms, and you need to sign in to your own Netflix account.

“Location is the only thing that is great”
Stayed for 5 days and even though the location is great (trains and buses are accessible), the whole stay was not that good. The place didnt feel like it was cleaned, especially the bathroom. The rooms were also not that spacious for 3 guests, as the only place you can arrange your stuffs in the luggage was on the bed or on the entryway. There was also no heater indicated so during mornings, we had to let the shower run for more than 5 minutes before the water heats up. Adjusting the heating of the shower was very tedious. There were also no provided amenities, only towels, and the breakfast included were only bread and jam. One morning, the bread was so hard i could chuck it at someone and it would hurt. There was no time indicated on when they prepare new breads too. The communication to the managers were also poor because I did not receive any information about check-in before we arrived.

“Overall location.”
The accommodation for a quick stay is considered acceptable for the price paid. The overall convenience is satisfactory. There are convenience stores in the area. Traveling is inconvenient as you have to walk to the metro, but it is convenient if you need to go to the airport. There are red limousine taxis near the front of the hotel which don't require a long walk. Contacting the host is quite difficult if you go after working hours, but the host is located downstairs.
