Marengo Hotel Centre-Ville

Liked: Close to the train station and shops. The hotel also has great facilities. Highly recommend!

Liked: Modern decor and friendly staff.

Disliked: Not much sounding proofing between the bedrooms so it was noisy in the evenings especially. The internet was also not working for some of our stay which was inconvenient.

Liked: Next to the train station

This is the first hotel I've stayed in with such poor soundproofing. You can even have a conversation with the room next door. The Wi‑Fi kept cutting out... The drain was slow so I reported it to the concierge and they fixed it, which was fine, but on the first day the shower overflowed and almost flooded the room. On a three‑week trip around France this was the first hotel that provided conditioner and the room condition wasn’t bad, but the lack of soundproofing made the stay quite uncomfortable in many ways.

Liked: Location, design and decor, pillows

Disliked: Some noise during the night, rooms are small

Liked: Breakfast was pretty good, vast choice, although hot dishes were quite cold. Comfortable room. Very helpful front desk.

Liked: Very much in the city Very close to train station to access other areas in the south of France

Disliked: Room was quite small and a bit dirty The carpet was particularly dirty with stains Reception did try to clean this

Liked: Location, friendly staff

Disliked: Cleanliness
