“Pool update”
Room and place is clean, but it's just the pool area need to properly clean. Specially when you have children.. it has alot of dead sentipid on the water and lots of leave said by my child. He doesn't want to swim there again. Kids always remember.

“Very disappointing.”
Because I needed to be back at the airport in the afternoon for work the next day, I chose a hotel near the airport, but there were several disappointing aspects. At check-in they were filming a movie, so I had to wait quite a while. The bedding felt damp and was uncomfortable. There was no hair dryer in the room, so I had to specifically ask at the front desk to borrow one.

“Case of expectation vs reality”
Seven families - 21 people in total, booked a stay at Mella Hotel to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We chose the hotel because it was conveniently located near most of our homes, and the reviews looked promising. Unfortunately, our experience turned out to be a case of "expectations vs. reality". Before our stay, I spent almost an hour repeatedly calling the hotel before anyone answered just to get clarifications and instructions regarding our booking, especially since some of our friends had booked directly with the hotel. Although when answered, the staff was friendly and helpful. Upon arrival, we had to open the hotel door ourselves while carrying our luggage. Check-in and check-out, on the other hand were quick and hassle-free. However, do take note of the ₱3,000 deposit required upon check-in. If you pay in cash, you get it back immediately upon check-out, but if you use a credit card, the refund can take up to 14 days. The beds were surprisingly narrow, to the point that I was genuinely worried about falling off! If you're sharing a bed with a small child, the twin beds may not be ideal for a comfortable night's sleep. On the plus side, the linens were very clean and so was the bathroom. I was a little puzzled by the towels though, as they looked unusually wrinkled even when folded. A minor detail but still worth mentioning. The hotel has two working elevators. I asked whether we could use the stairs to access the pool on the lower ground floor, only to be told that there were no stairs available for guests use. That left me wondering about the emergency evacuation arrangements. The pool was okay and the teenagers enjoyed it despite its small size. However, seating was very limited, so there weren't enough chairs for everyone to relax comfortably. The restaurant was our biggest disappointment! This was where the hotel really fell short. We chose to stay at Mella partly because we wanted to celebrate our friend's birthday there and enjoy the convenience of having a restaurant on-site without needing to go out. While waiting for the rest of our group to arrive, we ordered a late lunch and some drinks. The staff member taking our order needed several corrections and the food and a couple of drinks took almost an hour to arrive. Taking that experience into account, we decided to pre-order dinner to avoid another long wait. We placed our order at around 4:00 PM for dinner at 6:00 PM, especially since the restaurant closes early in the evening. Then, about 30 minutes later, we were informed that the kitchen couldn't accommodate our order because they had only one chef. Seriously?! We were a group of 21 people, and this was a hotel restaurant. Disappointment doesn't even begin to describe how we felt. We had planned our celebration around staying at the hotel, only to be told that our dinner couldn't be prepared. We had to scramble to make alternative arrangements and drive to a nearby mall instead. When we returned after dinner, we had a few drinks at the bar, which also closes at 9:00 PM, although guests were allowed to stay longer. Credit where it's due: the bar staff were quite good and left us with a more positive impression. Breakfast was another letdown, with a VERY limited selection. There was an egg station, but the only option available was sunny-side-up eggs. Unfortunately, the scrambled eggs served to me were cold. I must just add that the staff were very friendly and helpful at that time. Overall, the experience was disappointing. While the rooms and bathrooms were clean, and check-in and check-out were smooth, these positives were overshadowed by the narrow beds, limited pool seating, lack of clarity regarding the stairs and emergency access AND MOST IMPORTANTLY the restaurant's inability to accommodate a pre-ordered dinner for our group. We booked Mella Hotel expecting a convenient and enjoyable birthday celebration without the hassle of having to leave the premises for meals. Instead, we end
