“Pleasant stay”

“I stayed because of scuba diving.”
I stayed for 10 days and overall it was good. I chose a place a little away from downtown because I wanted to be close to the scuba shop. However, there are a few downsides: 1. The window is small and faces the hallway. 2. Breakfast is not provided (there are restaurants nearby). 3. The water pressure is a bit weak. It is suitable for a budget-friendly accommodation.

“Exceptional”
Liked: Good location, big enough room. My room was on 10th floor and did not have windows but that's not a problem for me. Great internet, the staff was amazing and I was allowed to check in early.

“Recommended for 0.5 nights.”
1. Superior has no windows. 2. The steps of day and night both have faces. The night shift thinks it's a ghost. 3. The transportation is generally good. It's a bit on the outskirts, but there's a Highland 50m next door, across from which is a Vin bus stop, and there are some good restaurants nearby. 4. I saw a little bug walking on the bed, but it wasn't threatening. 5. There is an elevator. 6. (As of 260606) I think it’s not dirty and offers good value for *** won per night. 7. Still, I stayed for 2 nights and immediately paid for a double to move to the city.

“Best budget hotel in the city”
Liked: It's great value. I stayed a total of 7 weeks in Nha Trang, over three different budget hotel properties, and Melyna was by far the best back for the buck. It had the cleanest, roomiest, quietest facilities. It also had hot water, which can sadly be very hard to find in Vietnam. Ventilation is good; bugs and mosquitoes do not get in.
Disliked: It is a budget hotel so it's not perfect. The chair provided in the room is terrible, lacking a straight back. There are not many outlets provided in the room. The room has windows without blinds, so if you're a sensitive sleeper like me, you will wake up with the early sunrise, even with an eye mask on. Housekeeping can be quite loud during the day; multiple times I was not able to get a nap in because housekeeping was making a lot of noise on the floors above me. They can also be loud when cleaning rooms on your floor. Their cleaning schedule is not set so it can be hard to avoid.
