Mercure Hotel Amsterdam West

Liked: Friendly staff

Disliked: Location far from anywhere except a nice park. Long time spent on public transport

Disliked: Some guest at the hotel was kind of creepy and weird, i didn’t feel safe so i decided to leave and they asked why and i explained everything. They said they will check the cameras, talk to the manager and call me and maybe even refund me to compensate what happened and no one did. I don't think that i should feel unsafe and uncomfortable in hotel where i paid a lot of money and i expected someone will do something if they cared about the reputation of their hotel. Plus, the room was not that clean, and it was super very noisy too to the point i was woken up multiple times during the night.

Liked: The room was clean and quiet;

Disliked: The place; it’s not easy to get there at all; plus even if you get gvb daily ticket you still have to take a bus with a different company.

Disliked: Asylum seekers loitering around all day getting free food, smoking, spitting

Liked: Great breakfast buffet. Staff very helpful and friendly. Jolly multi-lingual barman.

Liked: It did not have variety on breakfast, same same with very limited options

Disliked: Variety

Liked: Handy because we had a large veichle

Disliked: The taxi very expensive to town. Room bit small for 2 men
