Liked: The bar restaurant area was nice

Disliked: first room was not very nice and once they moved us it was better. we were told this was a four star...I would rate it a three. Way too expensive.

Liked: I like the location and the breakfast, except the coffee

Disliked: The price versus the room: how it looks, how old it was, and the reality (what the room looks like versus what the photo shows). It was very, very bad in comparison with another room, with 60% lower price and double the advantage of the other room. I would never come back

Disliked: The corridor from the elevator to the room was stinking bad odor. the carpet in the room, facilities in the bathroom was worn. shower head was rusty etc. there were no batteries in the safe. we couldn't use it.

Liked: close to everything very clean great breakfast

Liked: The hotel was excellent and in a great location. The breakfast was good as well. However, the best thing about this hotel is its staff. They were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. Special thanks to all of them, including the reception team, the bar staff, the breakfast staff, and the housekeeping team who kept the rooms spotless. Their professionalism and friendliness made our stay truly enjoyable.

Disliked: The room was very clean, but I noticed that the bed sheets had a very unusual smell, similar to dirty socks. It is possible that this was caused by a detergent or fabric softener with a lingering odor, but whenever you lay down in bed, the smell created the impression that you were surrounded by dirty socks. Although the bedding appeared clean, the odor was quite unpleasant and affected the overall comfort of the stay.

Liked: Mercure was a great choice for me at the end of my time in Sicily. And they even gave me an upgrade!

Disliked: It was odd that the hotel had a dual location and I needed to be escorted to the other property. It wasnt bad. The location was just down the street and was quiet. No complaints.

Liked: Good value, location, good breakfast, good service

Disliked: I did not get one complimentary water bottle every day that some others did
