“Brilliant location!”
Right across from the train station, this hotel had everything. It was the typical high standard of a Mimaru (we have stayed in this brand a lot!), and with a laundry room, rooftop, and the cleanliness we also receive, it was great. You can view the the Shinkansen from your room, if you want to ask for that view. A minor note, there is only one lift so maybe being on a lower floor might be better if you are in a rush, but we genuinely didn’t have to ever wait long! The staff here were the nicest we have ever come across! (Also right next door is a place where you can feed Koi for 100 yen!.. The kids loved that!).

“Great hotel for families with kids - good amenitites, comfy beds”
Liked: The MIMARU hotels have been great for our family whilst traveling in Japan. The family rooms are great for two adults and two kids, and the beds are comfortable with good amenities. I can see why they call it an apartment hotel because they are set up with a nice kitchen table and kitchenette. The staff are really friendly and provide a "treasure hunt" for the kids of things for them to do and see when in kyoto. Super close to Kyoto station and 2 x 711's within 2 mins walk.
Disliked: I was worried about being so close to Kyoto station but the rooms were well sound proofed.

“Excellent accommodation”
My family of two adults and two teenagers had a fabulous stay at Mimaru Kyoto Station. Our room was large compared to others we had stayed in and had everything we needed. The apartment was located very close to Kyoto Station as well as other facilities, like 7-11, a shopping centre and a bus station. We made use of the washing a drying facilities during our stay. We would definitely choose Mimaru Kyoto Station again.

“Great location, room was spacious. Place was clean and staff friendly. Would stay again.”
Liked: Great location beside train station. Wasn’t noisy at all. Was able to open windows for fresh air. Was very clean, staff were very friendly. Convenience store just a few metres outside entrance. Laundry facilities available which was a bonus. Microwave and large fridge were handy. Room was quite spacious for family of 4.
Disliked: Beds were comfortable but a little on the hard side. Water pressure in the shower wasn’t very good. Blockout curtains could have been better.

“Amazing Location & Helpful Staff.”
Liked: This hotel was one of our best stays! Amazing location. Very friendly front staff and extremely helpful when it came to luggage forwarding. I'll be sure to book this location again anytime I'm staying in Kyoto.

“Spacious and convenient place for a group of 5 in Kyoto”
Liked: Fantastic place. It’s about as close to Kyoto Station as you can get, spacious common room, comfortable beds (albeit a bit firm maybe for some, but that seems to be standard in Japan), and the staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Easily the best hotel of the 3 my group went to in Japan
Disliked: Pretty pricey, but all things considered with the convenient location, it’s understandable why this would be more than other Mimaru locations.
