“The scenery is beautiful!”

The staff was very calm and when I mentioned that I had an early morning, they packed a box for me! It might depend on the room, but I was pleasantly surprised that there were several power adapters available. It was very reassuring to have staff who could speak Japanese! Thank you very much!

“Scammers. Be aware”

This hotel took *** for two nights where the room didn’t have a proper AC. The washroom was like a roadside petrol pump toilet. It was so slippery and smelly that we couldn’t even use it. The towels were torn and smelly. We asked to change them but new towels smelled as much. The most horrible part is - Flies. Everywhere there are flies. This hotel is so unhygienic and so unmaintained. The room was like oven. Super hot because the room is tin roof. And if you see the entrance- it’s a slope that you have to hike and seriously shabby. Don’t go with the uploaded pictures. They have a view but it’s like cheap hostel where they are asking for lot of money. We had to check out and they didn’t give us the money back.

“Serene accom tucked in a mountain”

Liked: Misty Hills Ella resort is an excellent resort that is close to Ella town for convenience, but also perfectly tucked in a mountain away from the hustle and bustle. The bedroom was very big and the bed was super comfortable and big! My partner who is very tall has never slept in a bed that fits his feet in, so he was very pleased to be staying at Misty Hills for 4 nights. The pool and outdoor area was beautiful and was very enjoyable to hang out after doing a big hike in the morning. One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet each morning. The food offering consisted of a variety of Sri Lankan food and Western foods and was different each morning! They have a chef who cooks you a fresh omelette even! The staff were exceptional, we felt so comfortable and cared for. I defintely will be returning to Misty hills!
