''Mon Chez Moi''

Liked: Marie is a generous and thoughtful host, who takes great care and pleasure in looking after her guests. Her meals are plentiful (we had dinner there both of our nights - very reasonably priced). The views are lovely and there are beautiful walks right from the door. Private off road parking. Marie speaks perfect English but was very happy for us to try out our French. The house is an unmodernised family home, which we found a charming and refreshing contrast to other places we stayed which lacked character. The accommodation is a very large room with bed, kitchen area including fridge, sofa, dining table, private bathroom and toilet (not en suite but there are no other guests), and big windows overlooking the views. The village is tiny and peaceful; nowhere to eat, drink or shop. Shop and petrol 10 mins away by car. We arrived as guests and left as friends.

Disliked: We didn't stay long enough!

Liked: Atmosphere amazing. I feel I know this place ages. Like at home. Marie cooked for us and was delicious. Room very big. Nice view for hills and mountains. We can park our motorbike safe

Liked: Marie, the host is a sweetheart, she did everything for you to make your holiday the best, and to let you feel "home". She is a very special lady with a heart of gold!

Liked: We had a wonderful stay at Mon Chez Moi. The house is well equipped and offers all the basic comforts, with a shared kitchen available for use. While it’s not a luxurious place, it has everything you need for a pleasant stay. What truly made our visit special was the warm and caring hospitality of Marie-Arlette. She went above and beyond to make us feel at home—preparing a lovely breakfast each morning, offering great tips on things to do in the area, and even helping us when our daughter fell ill. She found a doctor who could see her and, since our French isn’t great, she accompanied us to ensure everything went smoothly. Her kindness and attentiveness turned a simple stay into a memorable experience.

Disliked: If you prefer more privacy, a potential downside is the shared kitchen.

Liked: Maria, she organized everything. Meal, drinks, everything.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Everything! The location, the house and Marie the host, she was just wonderful! She is caring, adorable and just an angel in disguise. We enjoyed our very short stay here and would love to come back.

Liked: Amazing place with breathtaking view on the mountains! Absolutely calm and quiet! Marie is a wonderful host! We had a delicious dinner and breakfast! Thank you Marie so much for everything! Will be back!

Liked: I was really made to feel welcome, great ambience, and Marie (the host) went out of her way to make my stay a great one. Even cooked up an Australian breakfast for me.
