“The quality of accommodation does not match the description, and food safety awareness needs improvement.”
I booked a Superior Family Room. As soon as I walked in the sink faucet was problematic: the cold water was actually hot, and the pressure fluctuated a lot. The cold water in the soaking tub was barely a trickle—like what you’d expect from a toddler’s urine. I waited 40 minutes for the water to be ready for a bath. Maintenance came and said this was a structural issue of the hotel and couldn’t be fixed. For the price I paid—nearly *** per night—this is unacceptable. I’ve stayed in many hotels, but this is the first time I was basically given a raw pipe outlet for water—very industrial, but at palace prices. At breakfast the milk and soy milk weren’t clearly labeled, and guests finished a drink then put it back in the wrong place, causing the next people to pick the wrong one as well. Don’t they know many people can’t drink milk? I picked up two cold drink cups and both had peeling paint; only the third cup was usable. Their awareness of food safety is really lacking.

“Spacious room with large bathroom”
Instructions given to check in online as there was no check in counter. Link in agoda didnt work so had to go to the adjacent building with check in counter. Other than that, rooms were great and spacious. Will stay again!

“The photo looks beautiful. In reality...”
When you first walk in there’s a bit of an arcade feel. At first impression it seems okay. An older hotel that’s making an effort to maintain itself. But the headboard is cracked underneath. Many areas are moldy. The main issue is that the hot spring, shower, and toilet are all together. For a family room with four people everyone has to take turns, so soaking time becomes very rushed… Also the facilities are mostly in the new wing, which is small and inconvenient. The only thing truly commendable is the breakfast — very abundant — and the staff are very attentive. It depends on your expectations: it’s not bad, but it’s not great either.

“Smelly in lobby once walked and the room toilet is very old and dirty”
We stayed at old building., lobby and common area is very smelly, toilet in the room is old and dirty, not comfortable to step in and shower area is very old and dirty too, with the price that charged not worth to stay! Checking in staff was talking amongst them and they retest the guest to wait till they finish their conversation, because if this hotel I have the bad impression of so call onsen town in Jiaoxi!

“Comfortable and convenient accommodation experience.”
The accommodation was clean and the staff were friendly. The location was convenient—easy to walk to shops, and the nighttime views were pleasant. I slept very well. I happened to get a super-discounted rate on Agoda, so the overall value was excellent. It was a very enjoyable stay and I recommend it to travelers seeking comfort and convenience.

“Good”
Stayed two days. The biggest inconvenience was that all the public facilities are in the Far Eastern Building (the new wing), so for breakfast, driving in/out, the game room, the spa pools, etc., you have to go out of the old wing and then take the elevator in the new wing to use them. I really didn’t want to carry a bunch of stuff to wash up in the public restroom, so I didn’t take the kids to the spa pool. Also, the spa pool and game room are very small, so the kids weren’t very interested. The breakfast here is highly recommended—there’s a good selection and it’s a great value. The location is right by Tangweigou Hot Spring Park, so it’s very convenient for visiting the area. The room was very large and the bathtub was big and great, but cleanliness needs improvement and the overall facilities are quite old. For the price, I would rather pay a bit more to stay in the Far Eastern Building, where the rooms are much newer; they’re of course a bit smaller, but the public facilities are much easier to access.

“Exceptional”
This is my third stay. The first two times I came with elderly family members; this time I came with classmates. We arrived on a Friday and planned to drop off our luggage first, but to my surprise the front desk said the room was already ready at 12:00, which was very welcome. There are only four rooms per floor, so it’s very quiet. I requested a high floor with a mountain view when booking, and the hotel honored my request. The hot spring water felt very pleasant, and the breakfast was plentiful. Next time, this will still be my first choice when visiting Jiaoxi Township.
