I think we got a room upgrade to the room with a balcony and the view was nice and it was a great gesture. Great location and really good value for money that we payed on Agoda. One downfall is the bathroom flooded and went into the hallway so I hope that issue will be resolved.
The hotel seemed clean overall, but there was a strange, unpleasant smell. I couldn’t tell whether it came from the carpet or air fresheners. The interior design was really odd. Two walls were covered with tiles, and the ceiling was made of wood. It felt more like sleeping in a bathroom than a hotel room. The mattress was extremely hard, almost like sleeping on a wooden board. The advertised lake view was disappointing. Instead of a nice view, you mostly see hanging electrical wires, what looks like a workshop, and only a small glimpse of the lake. Overall, not a comfortable stay.
Very nice, with all the essential amenities. Woke up early, brewed a G7 instant coffee and sipped it at the balcony overlooking the street; in the distance you can see Xuan Huong Lake. Turned on the TV and played music on YouTube to chill — wonderful.
